I know that we have sent a team of state champs to nationals in the past, are we sending a team this year?
also does that team compete against other teams in a dual style, or is it individual???

It never really was a team. However, you represent the state of KY when you go. In the past, we had some training camps just to keep the guys fresh.
This is a great tournament to get exposure.
the nhsca is also doing some team national events too in the future. dual meet style tournaments and stuff. i'm not sure if they're doing this at the h.s. level, but they have some events planned for m.s. already.

NHSCA host a national tournament for all grade levels, mostly done as an individual but represent team.
AAU jr. olympics -Danny Upchurch of Wayne co. puts a team together to travel to some national competition, not sure on details
USA- cadet and junior FS/GR nationals, contact KDsmith
plus there are several other opportunities to get on a travel team, not necessarily through KY.
Junior and Cadet wrestlers. If you are wanting to travel as a team and represent KY in Duals. Contact Coach G.

I don't think there will be a team that will get together for this, but there was talk earlier on about this.
