Not in Kentucky. Check out the discussion below for the 4-timers in KY. Joe Carr, Jr and Robbie Clarkston we close with a runner-up in addition to the 4 championships.

I knew Lincoln McIlravy won 5 times in South Dakota (with a class system) and went on to wrestle for Iowa. I just checked the SDHSAA website and they had a 6-timer in the 80's and another 5-timer in addition to McIlravy.
I think Harrison Courtney will most likely be the first 6 time state placer in Kentucky
Isaac Knable also won it four times in Kentucky. Another five-timer is Troy Nickerson from New York. He's still competing in college, reaching the NCAA Division I finals last year as a true freshman. Currently he is ranked second in the nation.
i think those littel fayhes that wrestled for fern creek then river city middleschool programs i think they will be the first 6 maybe 7 timers
I think the fahy's are home schooled.
It's not possible to be a 7-timer
John Fahy is a seventh grader already, so 6 is not possible.

its not possible to be a 7 timer because its against the rules to wrestle at the high school level until your in at least the 7th grade
I've never heard of anymore than four in Kentucky and that was Isaac Knable.
well there are more than 1...but to be a 5-6 timer would be very hard and it would have to be at a lighter weight..I've never heard of anymore than four in Kentucky and that was Isaac Knable.
you can still have 6 time state champ and and you can have 7 if you count middle school state

Courtney will be the second. the first would be Livingston Merritt of Hopkinsville. He placed:
1992- 7th Grade- 5th at 140
1993- 8th Grade- 4th at 152
1994- 9th Grade- he placed, not sure where
1995-10th Grade- 1st at 215
1996-11th Grade- 1st at 215
1997-12th Grade- 1st at 275
good catch napleme.
He placed 3rd at 189 in 1994 as a freshman.
james earl hardin form kentucky school for the blind was the first kentucky 4-timer.
That may be true but the first two state tournaments were not sanctioned by the state so they are not official Ky state champions, unless KHSAA does a post state championship recognition.
I don't think they will do this untill they get these officail records.
Being at the heavier weight classes makes what Livingston and hopefully Harrison is doing even more impressive. No offence to the small guys....
