This is pretty awesome for Coach Davis to be in Lexington doing a clinic - Hopefully we'll see a good turnout

What's the cost of the clinic?  I met Coach Davis out in Colorado Springs in like 1997.  He is one of the most down to earth, nicest guys you will ever meet.  He is a great coach and great with kids.  Anyone that has the ability to make it to this should make every effort to get there!!  This is a guy who has been around the block and seen it ALL in this sport.

Having said that, I can't get off work in time to take my son down there from N. KY.  Any one from N. Ky going down that could possibly give a ride?  Please PM me if you can offer a ride.

wow what an opportunity for wrestlers in the state.  coaches/kids need to take advantage of this to really help the sport grow in kentucky which i think is the larger goal of all of us.  coach davis has an excellent resume that rivals the best.  i hope the turn out is great.  thanks to the guys in lexington for arranging this

So far we will have most of the members of the Five Star Wrestling Club attending as well as John Wolsiefer, Deon Chaney (possibly), and Ben Warner. Please email, PM, post on here, or call me so we can get a close head count.

The format for the clinic will be about an hour of drilling and instruction and an hour of live wrestling. We want Coach Davis to run it like a Wisconsin practice. This will be great for both wrestlers and coaches to see.

The clinic will be held at Henry Clay High School Gym instead of IAKSS gym due to a glitch in the scheduling and will be from 5:00 to 7:00

i know its posted on the main page, but i just wanted to say due to gym reservations

the clinic will still be today, but from 5:00 until 7:00 and is in the Henry Clay High School gymnasium

We had about 50 kids present and it was a great day. Thanks to all that participated and made it work.

Great time!

Thanks to all the coaches that to put this together. I thought the turn out was very good!

Coach Davis seems like a great coach and hard worker, thanks for coming down the Bluegrass!
