we have every weight class filled i cant think of who is at 130,135,152,or 189.
This year team will be the lowest it has been on years, maybe lower than ever, I am affraid that Football has over shadow wrestling this year and I dont see it improving in the next couple of years. There is only a couple weight class to fill and I know they will forfeit a lot. The football player show up one day but found that it was tuff did not show the next. I know Matt Mines is going either 135 or 140.

Its better than the football Coach's tell kids if you go out for wrestling you WON"T play next season :!:
How are the ervin kids at 19 and 25? I haven't heard anything about them, are they mitch's relatives?

Tiger 06; as I understand it there are 3 Ervin brothers, each of whom was a state champ, in the 70's or early 80's, and each has sons wrestling now. You haven't heard of them because Union County's administration won't let middle school wrestlers wrestle varsity. I do know that all three mentioned won or place highly in the middle school state tournament during the last three years.
Thankls Naplesme, I knew if they were related to the Ervin family I knew of, they were of some quality. Look forward to meeting them sometime later this year, goodluck to u all.
im not sure which one it is but one of those little ervins is suppose to be the real deal, could make a major impact this year. Heard alot of talk about him last year from union.
Isaac ervin is Coach Robert's son and Luke Ervin is Gary Ervin's son Isacc placed second at Middle school state he lost to Matt Zarth from Henry Clay 4-2 int e finals. Luke did really well tp. they are both really tough kids. Isaac went undefeated at the tates creek duals. they should both do really good this year. they are Mitch's cousins.
