Eaglewrestler12, how do you have ervin winnin it at 140, josh ashbrook will destroy him. I see it bein Ashbrook over ervin by a major, thats just me though.

zarths going 119 I heard.

I've seen them both wrestle and i thought Ervin was more impressive. It is just a prediction. If Ashbrook did win it would definitely not be a major

nobody will touch zarth next year, did you see how dominate he was this year in finals.  the kid is a stud.

Choate was a light 160 (156) last year.  Right now he's weighing about 150.  He'll probably be at 145.

i knew he was light but not that light

i knew he was light but not that light

Yea. He's real light. He even mentioned 140 but I think that is out of the question. I see him and Peace under the lights at 145. That should be good. Northington will be 160 [probly] and papa Stengel will be at 152. What are you gonna wrestle next season?

i dont know yet well wait and see  :-D

i dont know yet well wait and see  :-D

Im guessin since hes from southern hes gonna eat too much food...fatten up...and skip a couple weight classes like everyone else lol....just jokin bro....

Kincer (Letcher County) will also be at 103 next year.

Here is the interesting thing.

Peace wrestled fat this year (meaning ddn't drop wt)

Courtney also did not loose wt.

I don't think M. Ervin had much trouble making 152.

Wolsiefer could also stay at 160.

Could thay all return to the same wt? and have a repeat of last years champions?  I'm pretty certain that this has never happened before.

If Peace moves to 145 and Courtney stays

1.  Ashbrook must stay at 140 for a title.

2.  Saunders will have to go 152 for a chance (even though he will not defeat Ervin)

3.  Peace could be the one to stop Courtney's 4X run.

I think Ervin is the wild card here.  He is a lot better than he looks, and knows how to win.  I don't think he would leave 152.  I would however like to see Courtney and Ervin wrestle.

I thought that Elam, Johnson, and Kincer would all move up, but after i thought about it Elam will have to stay at 103 because of Carr and Ervin so i would put him as the runner-up

If jarvis Elam continues to get better like he has been he will definatly be a force next year at 103 and in my opinion has a great shot of making it to the finals and even at taking home a state title

tyler grimm will most likely win state next year at 130.

he's a great wrestler

tyler grimm will most likely win state next year at 130.

he's a great wrestler

he is a great wrestler, very tough on top.  will he be back at 130?  you guys need to let that poor boy eat, he turns sideways and disappears!!  ;-)

Travis Sullivan will not lose this season

Wow umm yeah....kirby will not...I repeat will not be runner up....more like shawn johnson....or elam....but elliot will not be 112 next year...he's goin 119....and so will sullivan....he will go 119 to get his college rep up

I think that Shawn Johnson will beat Bradbury and win state easily. Last year he got 5th on his first year and if Elliott wouldn't of beaten him he would of been a finalist

Umm yea 145 where is ashbrook, he has beat both those kids plenty of times, even if he goes 140 i would think he would be in the finals, just look at his past state tourneys: 8th place in 9th grade, 3rd place in 10th grade(would have been in finals if not on murtons side of the bracket) 2nd place in 11th.

some one told me that bradbury got killed by shawn johnson at one of ryles

ryan tingle and jame pile? Is that all there is to choose at 145. Pile is sloppy but he does get the wins tho. Where did tingle even place this year?

Tingle was a match away from placing. He's really not a bad wrestler.

I don't think Travis Sullivan is scared of anyone. However, I also don't think a fourth state championship will be handed to him. 112 to 125 is going to be very competitive no matter how you look at it.

It doesn't matter what weight he is... you better believe Travis Sullivan wants to become the 5th four timer in this state's history. Expect him to wrestle like a 4 timer every match next season. Every single wrestler is going to be out to get him next year. Elliot Martin, DC Evans, Matt Slone, Matt Zarth...

I think that Shawn Johnson will beat Bradbury and win state easily. Last year he got 5th on his first year and if Elliott wouldn't of beaten him he would of been a finalist

I think Shawn is a tough kid who will only get better.

And you are correct if Elliot didn't beat him he would've been in the finals and if Tommy Warren hadn't beaten him he would've gone for 3rd. And if and only if my aunt had b*lls she'd be my uncle.

It's really hard to use this logic in wrestling.

I don't think anyone will agree with those. lol

Alright, if your are so much better lets see them.

Alright, if your are so much better lets see them.

Believe me. Mine aren't. I just don't see the justification for your 103, 112, 130, 140, 215, or 285 predictions.

Well lets start off with 103. Me being a 103 i can personally tell you I see johnson being top dog next year. From what ive heard, he went to the ryle national training camp and put it on it. Which came from reliable sources. Plus he will be with Elliot Martin at Seneca next year. Martin can help Johnson with bradburrys weaknesses and strong points.

112. 112 will be stacked just as thick this year. Fraiser is a tough and quick guy, as well is martin, but when it comes to nuetral  Fraiser has got it. They are both talented on bottom and can get an escape when they need it. Martin is just not strong enough for Fraiser though.

130. Trey Morlatt is an excellent wrestler, don't get me wrong, but when Coty Lewis is in shape, determined, and motivated he is one of the best wrestlers in the state. Thats why I see him being a force next year.

140= Ashbrook and Peace, both very talented wrestlers. Ashbrook in my opinion is more talented on his feet and on top. Morlatt has the advantage though on bottom. Morlatt beat Sanders by 5 or 6 I beleive at Ryle, but I've seen ashbrook do much worse to Sanders.

215= Im not much on the heavier weights so this could be short. I've seen Green wrestle when he is determined and motivated. I've also seen nickel (at state). Seeing nickle at nationals wrestle was not exciting though. He just wasn't wrestling to his potential.

285= Billy Fuller i've seen him wrestle but not bailey, Fuller is extremely talented to be a hwt though. As is Bailey. But Ijust dont know alot about hwt. Just threw them in the mix.

I know that, when he is in shape and everything, Coty Lewis  is a good wrestler but what makes you think that he will be at 100%? I had him picked to be in finals last year because I already know what he is capable at when he is 100% and look what happened. 215 and 285 will definately be Nickel and Baily, handsdown.

seeing Peace for years now.  The only one who may stop him would be Courtney. If they are in the same wt. class, and that is still a probably at best, not a done deal.

Other than that Peace would have to have a bad day to be defeated by Ashbrook or Saunders.

I don't think anyone will agree with those. lol

yeah im with you danger, kid you got some upsets in there that aint going to happen

at 285 i just dont see whiting coming close to the finals next year i guess its cuz i never seen him wrestle but i dont think he can do it and whats his weight at

I'm feeling that Matt Miller will be going 145 next year and place top 4 atleast

I have seen him wrestle and I think he can do it.  I don't know what his weight is, but it's probably over 215 and under 285 :-D!

at 285 i just dont see whiting coming close to the finals next year i guess its cuz i never seen him wrestle but i dont think he can do it and whats his weight at

I think Whiting could win this weight class easily.  He is just a lot more aggressive and much quicker than Bailey or Fuller.

I think Whiting could win this weight class easily.  He is just a lot more aggressive and much quicker than Bailey or Fuller.

i dont know about him being faster or more aggressive then bailey he is quick for a big guy and hes the most aggressive person i have ever wrestled but il see when i wrestle whiting ing jefferson co. finals hopefully

103  Bradbury (TRIN) vs Johnson (SENA), Wild Card - Kincer (LCC)

How can you have kincer as a wild card, in my opinion he is over-rated. Troxell or Wood would be a better choice to go with.

i would like to see a round robin between peace, ashbrook, and miller but i dont think morlatt is close to those 3.

I thought Miller and Ashbrook squared off at 135lbs there Sophomore year, and Ashbrook won 10-3, I'm pretty sure, Have Peace and Ashbrook wrestled?????

miller improved by leaps and bounds since then and ashbrooke is to inconsistant with his wrestling cuz he got beat by warner very badly at the begining of the year ( cuz he was suppose to be "sick") then he just basically stalls his way through every state tourny he wrestles in.

Alright Blastdouble, Ashbrooks match with warner at the HCIWT was his 1st match back,(due to a broken foot during football season) he had only a week or two of conditioning, and was out of shape big time. I dont know how you got that he was sick, but someone has been giving you some false info. So before you go to startin crap make sure you got all the info.

Just like sheeves said, No the reason Ashbrook did not wrestle well the first match is because he broke his foot in the first round of football playoffs and was just cleared to wrestle a few weeks before that match and was not in any wrestling shape. Then in the finals match anytime Warner or Ashbrook would get some offence going the match was stopped for blood. And for stallin his way through every match you must not watch him wrestle that much. He pushes the pace when he needs to, but he will not take a shot unless he is sure that it is there.

I Mark Jones Will be at 189 next year i weight 187 So  i will be back. :-D.

well think what yall want to think , but i will be in the finals that a promise , anybody that think i cant do it , well i really don't care  what u say u all will see

big black out

Are you kidding me Peace whoops both of these two. No one but maybe Courney will come close to him next year 145 and down.

I hope you do, I enjoy your enthusiasm and your athletic ability.  But man you have got to work on that technique.  Bird was not one of the best Hwts. we have had in KY.  Unfortunately we have not had many Hwts that can actually wrestle that were true Hwts.

If you can improve your technique dramatical then no one can stop you, However.

If anyone moves into KY with any technique as a Hwt they may be able to win this wt. class.

how do u not have mark jones in the finals at 189??

I guess it was a good thing he stalled in 2006 or he may have really embarrassed Miller (and he had a 14-2 victory in the quarters and pinned Cameron Bibbs for 3rd that year as well).  And I guess he was stalling this year in the quarters when he won 17-1.  Forget the excuses.  He got handled by Warner early in the season.  So did everyone else all year long.  He pushed him in the finals more than anyone did all year.  Sounds too me like you are sucking on some sour grapes.  Get over it.

Very well put. Agree 100%. I would like to also add that he is the only one that pushed Murton in 2006 in the semis. If I remember right he was the only one that went the distance with Murton at state.

It would be cool to move up a weight class but not this year to much weight. i mean if i have to to help the line up will. I may state off at 215 to see how i will do,but right now im set for 189.

grimm will be going 130 next year and he has been going to tons of camps and with the help of his coach i think he will definitly be in the finals......i seen him a while ago and he looked like he was still in great shape and is to good of a leg rider and can score from neutral fairly good but when he takes u down i dont think you can get out of his leg...so he is def my pick for the finals

what ever happened to elam at 103. i think him and bradbury will be mor likley candidates for the finals
