hardest weightclass?

It looks as if 145 is going to be the bracket to watch this year
thats what i was thinking, im stuck, oh well, ill try to make the best of it
im going to ahve to say 125,130 and 145 are the toughest this year! from what ive seen so far this season.
I'll say 145 going away. Then maybe 125, you've got Parks and Scott there. I don't really think 130 looks any more difficult than the average class, but its early yet so there may definitely be impact guys who will step up i'm not aware of.
I beleive 145 looks to be stacked, and on the other end 160 looks to be the weakest. I can really only think of two good wrestlers at 160 and about 10 at 145. But if you saying the hardest class to place 1st then it would have to be 140 with murton or 215 with shearer. I agree 130 seems to have 2 or 3 really good wrestler like most of the other weight classes.
IMO 171 will be a interesting class to watch throughout the year, there are alot of out of state transfers like the harrison co. kid the Ashland kid, and there is no clear cut stand out wrestler there in that class. It looks to me like this class is a toss up.
145 is the hardest by far
I totally agree. This will be telling about how great Courtney is going to be. If he can win a class like this as a freshman, i'm completely sold on the idea he'll be one of the best ever from Ky.
Coundn't agree more....do you really think all of those guys would stay at that weight class?
Cutting to go against Murton is bold (i urge anyone thinking about it to do it !!!). Bumping up 7 pounds isn't smart if you don't have the muscle to tough it out with guys that are borderline 160 pounders wrestling 152.
I'm pretty sure Wilson will be at 145, he's going there for the benefit of the team. Campbell Co has a promising young guy who's been wrestling up two weight classes a lot (at 171 .... looks great technically but out muscled of course) because he can't beat Wilson for 152 or Hildreth for 160.
Although Hildreth wrestled up a class to face Doyle in the Harrison Co duel.
If 145 stays the way it is i beleive the champ will either be aylor or banks, maybe wilson. Ervin and courtney both have a decent shot but i see it decided among Banks and aylor.
Thats a fair prediction.
Josh Cooper of Simon Kenton has now beat Aylor and Wilson. 145 is a beast of a wieght class.
Josh Cooper looked like a stud. He beat Wilson, Aylor, AND Thuneman this weekend. The win over thuneman was controversial, the monkeys running the clock forgot to start it and it was 3-3 in the 3rd with 15 seconds to go. Did Cooper get the takedown in time ? Scott bumped Thuneman up to 145 for that match, Thuneman is trying to get in all the good matches he can i hear.
Wilson beat Aylor as well, 1-0, that was a heck of a match too. No doubt, this is a ridiculous weight class. Now the Wilson/Aylor series is 2-2.
How bout Campbell Co beating Ryle in that duel. Ryle was missing two guys i hear, but Griffith still isn't back from knee surgery for Campbell if we wanna go down that path.
45 is stacked, Cooper did get the takedown in time against DT. I heard that Ryle was missing 4 starters. If you remember a few years ago when 145 was stacked with K Cooper, Lawnmower man from Conner, Barton-Ryle and a few others I can't think of CC and SO. Region 6 left a state placer at home for the state tourney.
Yeah, i actually didn't see the Cooper/Thuneman match. The person who told me about thought he got the takedown too ... but its bad they'd ruin a match like that and allow for excuses by forgetting something as mundane as starting the clock. Cooper was tough !!
I heard it was 2 Ryle was missing but you may be right about 4. Campbell was missing a potential state placer (Griffith) and 3-4 of their guys (and girl who's got quite an impressive record this year i might add) were wrestling hurt. The guy Reid smoked could barely walk and his ankle was black, he'll never blow him out like that when he's healthy.
No matter how you shape it, Campbell is better than i gave them credit for this year and will have something for Ryle even when Ryle is at full strength. Next time they meet up it could be wild.
ryle was missing 4 kids but no excuses campbell co won 189 152 160 and 119.
145 is incredibly hard.. harrison courtney, cooper, wilson, aylor, and im sure a couple other pretty good wrestlers.. wow its going to be tough, who ever wins this will sure prove themselves, good luck too everyone.
That 112 match between Shotwell and Isler (guessing based on what they where yelling as the kids name) was good.
Peace looked tough, i'm looking forward to watching him and Rust again later in the year. Peace is a contender ... not a real quick type but very control oriented and was almost completely mistake free. Considering he's only a sophomore he's a legitimate multi year champ.
