we did really good. we beat south ridge, tell city, forrest park, trinity, harrison, and heritage hills.

i won the dual meet at 112, 9-0

miles and mitch were one match shy they both went 8-1

Mitch lost to Kempf in double overtime but i feel that the match was reffed poorly mitch scored at least two takedowns goin out of bounds that should have been counted but i guess theres notthing u can do about that. we had alot of our wrestlers do very well. we really stepped up to the plate this weekend and wrestled well. miles lost in overtime agianst Reitz. it was a battle miles wrestled his best match ever. and isaac ervin went 8-1 loosing only to the Reitz kid. he is really coming alon this year i expect him to make some noise at state.

Were there any quality 19's at the duals this weekend?

The best 119 that weekend was from Reitz. Nathan Jones a sophmore wrestled very well. I think he pinned at least 8 maybe 9 times.

I'm a little biased with Reitz, but I have to disagree with UC 112 about the takedown on Kempf and UC. Kempf was out of bounds on his butt with his hands locked around UC back and waist. Yes UC was inbounds, but if it was in the center of the mat they would not have awarded a takedown YET. It would have been a stalemate or UC would probably work up to a takedown, but since they went out of bounds it still was not a takedown. Kind of like having a wizzard in defending a takedown. The ref was a state champ during high school at harrison high school. He definately knows when someone has control in a takedown situation. The match was a great one and if they ever met again It would be a toss up. UC has a great team and they will go far this year. Good luck and see you next year at the Harrison Duels.

i believe that the match could have went either way. Mitch wrestled a really good match. i'm not taking any thing away from the ref i just felt that mitch had the takedown. but everyon has their own opinion. thanks for wishing us good luck.
