After our USA Wrestling State Leaders Summit this year, Changes with made to the weight classes to better utililize the weight classes without as many forfeits. This format will be used at all future USA Wrestling Tournaments.

Schoolboy weights were changed at the State Director's meeting this year and the site now reflects the updated weight classes for the schoolboy division

Schoolboy/girl (Birthyear 1994 and 1995)

Weights: 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210, HWT

HWT cannot be more than 25 lbs. difference.

i dont get it are these new weight classes for regular season competition or is it for those who place in state and go to natls.

These are the Schoolboy Weights that you will see at ALL USA Wrestling Events Nationally. It is up to the KY Middle School Assoc to adapt to these weights or use their own.
