Can somebody out there give us a ranking for Region 2. Seems lke there is going to be a lot of new faces/names?

Is this the year somebody tops Larue County? They are not getting much love.

It's no secret that Larue Co. appears to be down this year, but I still see them performing well by the time the region rolls around. North Hardin will probably win Region two, but the Hawks will give them a run for their money.

i see north hardin being the frontrunners in this region, but you can not count Larue county out because they have alot of young wrestlers coming up as of what i have heard.

This Saturday is the regional scrimmage (November 17th).  Rankings could be posted after the duals as most will be able to see who is where, or close to where, and who the young guys are for LaRue and the other teams.

John Hardin is the preseason favorite.  I am not sure how many of their wrestlers play football as their football team will be playing for several more weeks and any wrestler who is a football player won't be with the team till they lose or win the 5A state championship.

We shall see about some rankings after Saturday.

i would say watch any duals John Hardin has. even with their football players out of the line-up, they should still look pretty impressive.

nobody will touch john this year i predict at least 7 region champs

I agree that John has to be the favorite. But I can not see them having 7 champs that is crazy. That is saying that they will win half of the weight classes. In all the years that Larue was dominating they had a tough time having 7 champs. They may have 7 finalists but North has 4 guys alone who will probably win there respective weights in Demery, Jones, Wolfe, Haynes. Central and Larue and Anderson have a couple champions on there teams as well. Don't forget Fort Knox has the heavy champ in Bailey and Barrientos will contend for a championship as well.

You are correct. Josh said he was going 130 lbs.

Josh Johnson will start the season out at 135 and then as the season moves on they will switch spots.

Stand out wrestlers I noticed at the scrimmage:  Ross Engle, Kyle Terry, Josh Johnson, Carmen Lucas, Matt Miller, Justin Pitcher, Trent Webb, Jordan Murphy, Alex Murphy, Nick Paden, Wade Holtsclaw, Justin Thompson, Kirby Goodwine, Houston Lundy, Chris Wallace. 

I didn't get to see much of the bigger guys wrestling and also none of North Hardins varsity wrestled even though they were in attendance.
