Attended a great match last night. DOSS, PRP, and JEFFERSONVILLE. I am not going to talk about who won or who lost but what a great group of kids that were there. JEFFERSONVILLE arrived all wearing shirts and ties (NICE TOUCH) The kids at PRP and DOSS all know each other and it was like old home week they all seemed to get along great. The matches were tough and good all wrestlers wrestled great and showed great sportsmanship. The fans were great it was just great to just watch and enjoy a sport done just like it supposed to be done. MY HATS OFF TO ALL INVOLVED. Last week I did not like what I saw but this week let me say something about a certain young man JASON HARDIN I am old school and as I like to say he" must of had a good momma " This kid is all class it is not that he's a wonderful wrestler but most of all he is class. He is well liked my everyone and he always talks and helps alot of the younger wrestlers from even other schools Last night after the match he had a garbage can going around picking up garbage that was nice I know my son will be even richer for knowing a class young man like JASON HARDIN who he will always be a friend

Thats just his way of sucking up. He isnt all hes cracked up to be. He was probally picking stuff up that was all his. Does anyone rember last year when he lost to Reeves at state?? I do, he got mad and threw down the barerior leading up to the seats. He has an attitude problem and he thinks he is unbeatable. Him along with some of his teamates will have a rude aweaking come REGION and state.

Laterial King - obviously you don't know Jason Hardin, or anyone on the Doss and PRP teams at all. He is a really good kid and does help out ANY wrestler who asks for help. As for state last year, he was more mad at himself than anything. I saw some others that lost at state last year that acted A LOT worse than Jason. Also, here we go with the trash talking - AGAIN. Iceman made a great observation about how things went at Doss on Wednesday. He was right on target. All the wrestlers there from all three schools were very polite and didn't get into any snubbing or trash talking. Doss and PRP are almost like one team and rooted for each other during the matches against Jeffersonville. Both Doss and PRP are young teams but they give 150% on and off the mat!! Laterial King, If you can't say something nice about someone why don't you just keep your comments to yourself. This forum is for talking about wrestling and how everyone is doing, NOT trashing individuals or teams!!!!!!

Iceman - You were absolutly right about Wednesday night. It was really great to be able to just sit back and enjoy wrestling the way it was ment to be. Everyone, including wrestlers, cheering everyone else on and no "I'm better than you" attitudes. If only some other people could learn from this example!!!!!

Amen on that last one KYVA84 but SOME people have nothing better to do then talk smack about others.

All I have to say is Jason Hardin IS a nice guy, He does help others and hes a good wrestler. Ill stick up for him any day of the week as he would do for me....

thanks for sharing that story iceman! it's nice to hear about good sportsmanship every once in a while...it's one of the best parts of this sport in my opinion. also, lateral queen....who cares what's the reasoning for him being a gentlemen/good sport on 1 particular occassion...the point is, he was doing something good....no one said he was perfect...but at this meet, here's a kid picking up trash. more kids around this state should follow that example!!

hehe, that sounded kind of funny...not saying all our kids should grow up to be trash collectors or anything....just being courteous at meets instead of being punks...a few years ago we hosted a tournament & our locker room was COMPLETELY trashed....anything that wasn't bolted to the floor was stolen.

btw - the lateral "queen" shot was meant in good fun...no offense.
