Still some shots in the dark, few weights probably messed up. The Oldham/ Eastern Dual results helped. Any input would help as well.  Not sure where to put Ryan Clark and Justin Davis either.

From what I heard the Thomson guy at 135 looked tough at OCSD. I would've loved to wrestle him at Nelson County, but I'll be out taking the ACT.

He looked real good.  Majored Rivera from Central Hardin, and beat Milley from Scott.

Russell Nyitrai, Tom Rupp, and Aurthur Cimaro are 9th graders. Joe Rupp is a 7th grader. Austin Dicken is an 8th grader. Menes McNeely is a 10th grader. And Phil Harrison and Aaron Rainey are both seniors

Honestly i dont see martanono beating barger, hes a good wrestler no doubt. But ben has proven himself at state the past two years, especially last year. And has continued to improve in his senior year. Im gonna have to go with the original prediction of ben pinning him

Neither will pin each other, they're both too good for that to happen.  it'll be points.

It'll be a fun dual.  As a coach I'm looking forward to dueling both Fern Creek, OC and South.  I think we all match up pretty well and it should be a dog-fight for state duals.

First off I think South is goign down to 103 and Richardson to 112.  Branch will get pinned by Thomson.

I believe OC beat Eastern at the Super Duals as well.

South at 103?  He'll be a real tuff 103lber.  (I bet Huffine will have some questions about him like every other 103 in the state)

It'll be better for North Oldham that's for sure.  I also think that Martorana will go down to 140 by the end of the year; Procter will go 145 b/c he wont beat mitchell for 140, and he won't be able to cut to 135.  I also think Morlatt will go 130 and not get anywhere near repeating the fluke of making the finals.  Him and Coty lewis shouldn't be in the top 4 for 130. 

But then again, what do I know.

Fern Creek has not had a dual with anyone in the region.  We have lost to Trinity PRP Seneca...I think that is all in state.

Kyle Forbes wrestled at state last year as a 10 grader at 160.  He went 0-2 for the tourney.

Dual wise, It'll be a real battle.  But let's look at some things:

1.  South/North/Fern Creek all match up really well, so it'll be a close one either way, emotions running high.

2. The duals are at North Oldham, and home field advantage always plays a part in a win.  North will probably have the gym pretty packed; they'll have their coaches going nuts, Zeppa's dad yelling, Coach Connan yelling, and Coach Fulk yelling.  You know that will play an advantage, if you've ever wrestled in their gym, it gets pretty amped up.  Fulk, Connan, and Zeppa _are_ loud.  We wrestled there a few years ago and I swear we lost the dual solely on the atmosphere.  One of their JV guys who had never gotten a win stuck one of our veteran varsity kids to beat us by 1 pt.  It was insane.

3. Barger/ Martorana will not go to a pin for either of them.  I don't see two wrestlers like them, at their level that will give up a pinfall.  I know that Martorana wasn't pinned by Shotwell, or Pile.  I cqan't remember the last time Barger was pinned.

4. Dan Thomson/ Derek Branch will be one of the best matches of the night.  I personally think that Branch will get stuck by Thomson.

5. The 130 can go either way, you're right ccbdeke, HOWEVER I don't think it'll be a decision, it'll be a pin for one or the other.

6. I don't know who Kreiger is, But I know Rusch is an 8th grader who wrestled at state last year after taking 3rd at regionals at Fern Creek.  I have no idea who Krieger is.

7. the 152 match will be a close one.

i agree on most of this barger did almost tech fall martanono last year (145) im almost positive it never was decided by a pin, but the way bargers been wrestling it could, second branch and thomson (135) could be close ive never seen thompson that or ive never paid attention to him but ive only heard good things about him, but again branch has pinned every person he's wrestled yet, my final opinion last year when mann and thomson (152) wrestled at south oldham invitational mann beat him pretty bad, even with 1 of those face guard mask on. Just stateing my opion here dont anybody get mad and try going off on me. please.

If everything goes as predicted, it's a close one. However there are several things to look at. Sever matches could go to the other team at several weight classes, so in a duel this close anything can happen. Also, I think it is VERY VERY important which weightclass the dual starts at. 119 would be ideal for North Oldham, as usally a few wins usually makes teammates wrestle exceptionally better in North Oldham's case. However, a start at 160 could kill the spirits of North wrestlers, and a lot of times in the past starting off slow has hurt them more than it should in duels, and wrestlers don't wrestle as well as they normally would. It'll be a good one.
