Last year this was a individual pooled tournament.. What do you think the outcomes of this tournament will be like.. Individual and team predictions.

What is the format for the Ryle Rumble? Dual or individual bracket?
its seeded pools.. individual... like i think there are like 2 different pools if i'm not mistaken and like each pool is round robin and that determines who goes into the placing rounds. Something like that.
I believe Grundy is coming and Lakota West B team
Grundy went last year, they got 3rd.. South Dearborn IN won it last year, Union came in second
This is going to be a very tough tournament this weekend in Ryle. I highlighted yellow all the kids who are supposed to be there on Ranger's latest rankings. No one urinated on the rankings sheet, based on the teams coming, these kids should be wrestling. Add in Lakota West's B team and Grundy, Virginia. Well, meat grinder wouldn't begin to describe what is going to happen at Ryle.
I am not for certain, but I think Jeffersonville IN and S. Dearborn as well. Don't bank me on that one.

I am pretty sure Reid or Peace wont be there this weekend. Isn't the Beast this week??? If so we wont be seeing Reid or Peace this weekend which blows but I def. would not pass up the oppurtunity for the Raider Rumble if I had the chance!
Conner will also be down this week we are missing all our sr's. Ryan Dillion, Corey Boger, Matt O'Bryan and thats all i can think of off the top of my head. They will all be taking their ACT's. Just some quick news!
Forget my last post Beast is next weekend we will get to see those great match ups! So im more then pumped to be there!
Union is going to be without Jake Wempe and Diante Wright because of the ACT. Matt Young will be wrestling 125 and Caleb Ervin will be at 130. Tim McKenney is going 189 to take Diante's spot

Reid pinned hitchings. He is a very good wrestler but not sure about his sportsmanship. Seems a bit out of line. :?

Get real. That is ridiculous about Reid's sportmanship, or lack there of. I saw 2 wrestlers dishing out some face smacks and intimidation tactics at the beginning. Hitching's dished it out just as much as Reid did. Bottom line, when Reid got tired of the posturing and intimidation, he picked up Hitchings and ended the match within the first minute. And that little shove out of bounds was completely justified. When a sophomore comes out nose to nose with a senior defending state champ and starts smacking his head, don't be surprised the match is going to be a physical one.
For those of you who think Reid was a poor sport, I suggest you observe Hitching's style when Hitchings is wrestling a kid physically inferior to him. Hitchings is not a bad sport, he is a competitor who takes it to his opponent when he can. Reid is the same. Reid is the alpha male of 171 and no one will survive him 6 minutes or even 1 minute if he chooses to end it!!!
Oh, you didn't just! Mason was excited, for crying out loud! Look, we're not talking about figure skating, here. For the most part, these guys are considerably understated. And remember, this was in his house, among his family, friends and classmates. He had every right to be jubilant.Reid pinned hitchings. He is a very good wrestler but not sure about his sportsmanship. Seems a bit out of line. :?
Something else to consider: Mason Reid is quite possibly one of the youngest senior wrestlers in the state, especially in the upper weight classes. All of you bigger boys, who are not yet in the 12th grade, should thank your lucky stars that you won't have Mason Reid to contend with next year. As late as his birthday is, most parents would have held him back a year, especially an athletic family. Not only is he an accomplished wrestler, he's an honors student at one of the most academically prestigious public schools in the commonwealth.

Trinity appeared to have a very good tournament given 3 of their starting and best wrestlers were out. I believe those 3 kids could have given them another 40-50 points, putting them right there and even ahead of Ryle???

This may be nit-picky but I give credit where credit is do. Bradbury got 2nd at regionals last year, he lost 13-2 to Martin.
