Ranger, Consider ranking teams in 2 categories: State Tournament rankings, State Dual Rankings. That might provide clarity to those who confuse a team losing a dual match yet still be ranked higher than a team in the state tournament.

Good suggestion.  A lot of people don't understand a team could get beat regularly in duals but still place high at individual state.

Union went like 3-2 at state and maybe placed top 8.. Larue won the duals and got 5th at state

I as well struggle to understand how people seem to not understand the difference between team duals and tournaments.  3 or 4 dominant wrestlers might not win you a lot of duals, but they will place you higher at tournaments than teams who might beat you in duals (i.e. the state tournament and subsequent individual placings which is from what Ranger bases his team rankings). 

Yeah Bryce Alexander did beat Luke. I think the score was 9-7. Bryce almost beat Woodford
