CONGRATS TO RANEY and MOORE!

Topic ID: 29260 | 2 Posts

Crazy that nobody has posted about this yet. HUGE CONGRATS to Jayden Raney who continues putting KY on his back. Jayden went out and dominated at the Ironman this weekend before losing a overtime match in the finals to Jax Forrest.

Another huge shoutout to Emma Moore for putting KY girls wrestling on the map with a 4th place finish. We need to get excited as a state seeing guys and girls go and put there records on the line and compete with the best.

After talking to a couple guys that I think would do well they all seem on board to try and enter next season. Maybe we see a couple champs and placers next year with both Raney's and others putting it on the line!

Awesome job Raney and Moore, KY Wrestling is proud!

Thanks Nathan!  And agree 100%.  I know particular event can be tough to get into and is really dependent on coach/school doing the legwork, but many more of our wrestlers need to put it on the line and be willing to take a couple butt kickings to experience the opportunity and potential glory.  We definitely have kids that can compete.  Just have to take the chance.
