Does anyone know the results at Valley haven't seen or heard anything

I heard their was not much competition at this tourney. Was a team tourney. Central won.

I saw on another web site where another Holmes kid was undefeated at 145 and didn't recieve the all tournament team award. It is probably done by the coaches or the tournament director.

The kid from Holmes was the best 145 at the tournament,,but ,,,he only wrestled at 145 once, bumped up once , and had 2 forfeits. The all tournament team is always voted on by the coaches.

I just got the scoop on this. Golsby was over weight 140.2 or something.

He wrestled Radar from Valley and pinned him. 145

He wrestled 152 against Manual Pinned this kid

He wrestled 145 against DeSales Pinned him

Had forfeits against Holy Cross and Western Hills

The kid from Central had at least one forfeit against Western Hills and then would have had no more that 3 other matches.

There pool (Holmes, Valley) had 5 teams in it, the other pool only had 4.

Seems to me I would not be a fan of "All Tournament Team" We already have two wt. classes that have undefeated kids in them.

And if Holmes was the Best Kid at 145, I would think he should have gotten this recognition.

Does Golsby have a hard time making weight cause last year on here I was led to believe that he was more or less a "natural 140". Surely he doesn't want to enter the 145 fray in Region 6 and end up being a possible four seed at the state tournament (assuming Wilson, Aylor and Cooper can beat him) and assuming one of those three don't end up with the four seed.

kids on the team tell me he just doesn't like to lose weight. They told me his skin fold said he could go as low as 130, and his natural wt. is around 145.

manual had two 152's that day, wrestling for different teams, so Golsby really did pin a manual 152, but i went undefeated there
