for 112

At 130 miller beat mills 6-2 in a dual.  I think miller will make it to the finals. but it also depends on the brackets.

Daniel Miller could win the thing at 130.  He has upset some good wrestlers, like Mills(#7) and Olhman is ranked #6.

215- Derek Nickel (Doss) fall Ryondrae Wesley (Cen)

Hey BOP.  I have seen Whiting wrestle a few times and I think you are in for quite a ride.  For your sake, I hope it is only a 1 point match.

Have Some confidence in yourself

Jeff Warra will not be wrestling at county for personal reasons, he is not in grade trouble

Started or finished?  I'm guessing the latter.

Weigh Ins are at 8:30 each morning & wrestling is scheduled to start at 10:00 both days.

does anyone knowwhat time the seeding is

i was told weigh ins are at 10:00 tomarrow

does anyone know the seeding yet

After day 1, Trinity is running away with the team title.  They are around 25 points ahead with numerous kids in the semis (Bradbury, Smith, Barton, Ohlmann, McCauley, Lewis, Hitchings, Messina & Whiting just off the top of my head & there may be more).  Also in response to an earlier post about Bebop & Whiting, Bebop was right.  Whiting won by a 3-2 dec. in a typical HWT stallfest.  The scoring, Bebop had an escape & a technical violation (for Whiting grabbing the singlet I believe) & Whiting scored on an escape & 2 stalling pts. given up by Bebop.  Whiting will have to pick it up to beat Payne from Iroquois.  It is not a bad tournament, but the competition in some weight classes is not very good.  I predict 5 or 6 pins in the finals.  It is not as competitive as last year at all.

jordan whiting is a good wrestler but what i seen out of him this weekend i dont think he will win state and im pretty sure if i wrestled him the same way i did my last 3 matches i think i would have beat him and im not sure but i don't think that working inside control is stalling

Does that mean your gonna hang on to him and stall the whole match again?

ok what move was he working??? and i wasnt hanging on him the hole match i was working a snap down

It was obvious to just about anyone watching the match that Whiting was the aggressor and that Smith was simply using his weight advantage to hold Whiting back

What happen to Ricky Wright from Sen :?

135: Zach Poulton(SEN) fall Justin Davis(EAS)

I guess this was payback from WCI

Ricky Wright lost to Watkins in the semis by a score of around 11 or 12 to 3.  He wrestled back and beat Cosgrove from Doss for 3rd place.

Poulton flat out threw Davis in one of the best lateral drops I have seen a high school kid pull in quite some time.  It was text book & off the scramble.  Simply beautiful.

Does anyone know final team scores, quick pin and MOW?

That will move Watkins up a few spots and the reverse for Wright.

Welcome back Zac, a weeks practice paid off.

Trinity won by a ton of points.  I'm not really for sure how many, but it was a runaway.  Seneca was 2nd, St. X 3rd & I believe Moore or Fern Creek were 4th.  Quickest pin was Nickel (18 sec.) & MOW was Poulton (well deserved).  Poulton dominated Branch in the semis & of course, pinned Davis in the finals.

where the hecks wolseifer?  :?

I pinned a couple kids and beat Phil Harrison of Eastern pretty good. I lost to Lofton Wright and had a crappy match against Russ Whatly. My last match was stopped due to injury.

Danger, I saw your last match but I didn't quite see what happened to your leg -- what happened there?

I strained a ligament [sp?] wrestling Russ from Trinity. I tried to wrestle on through it but the FC kid grabbed my leg and pain just shot through. I went to the emergencie room and the doctor said to stay off it for a week and ease back onto it.

Also, where is spell check? I know I misspelled and couple words there. :-D

Looks like trinity is a team contending for the title. what individuals looked the best? why isnt wolseifer wrestling

HWT?

any one kno about Lewis?

Congrats to Trinity on winning the Jefferson County Tournament!

Sorry to see Josh Lewis get hurt, good luck on a quick recovery!

Wolsiefer re-injured during practice last week, hopes to be back soon!

It was obvious to just about anyone watching the match that Whiting was the aggressor and that Smith was simply using his weight advantage to hold Whiting back

thats why i said if i would have wrestled him like i did my last 3 matches where i was aggressive i think i would have beat him and did the coaches just not want to change the brackets because i dont see how i get seeded 8th

HWT?

James Payne of Iroquois gave Jordan Whiting of Trinity a run for his money in the finals match which was very exciting to watch might i add. I believe the final score was 3-2 i could be wrong, both are impressive athletes.

as for teams i was impressed with moore they came in 4th good job too them. I think we Southern had a great showing too

Justin Davis showed one of the best displays of sportsmanship I have seen in a long time after his loss in the finals.  He got up and shook the opposing coach's hand smiling the whole time.  Never smacked the mat or threw his headgear, etc.  Kudos to that young man.  :-)

I thought that was what you are supposed to do.

Yes it is, but it's very odd for him to do that so it showed good restraint.  Although he wasn't happy afterwards I think the smile was just his way of showing it.  Nonetheless no thrown headgear or punches so that's good!!

It looks like your boy Justin may not be the great sport you claim. I see he's cussing and crying on the web under "Zach Poulton".
