With out a doubt
Coach Ervin
Coach Lindsey
Coach Cantar
Coach Hitchings
Coach Carr
Coach Upchurch
With out a doubt these are some of the best coach's in the state.
dennis walls is the head coach for union but there are too many coaches that help the team to say just one coach.
How about Head Coach of the Year or Coaching Staff of the Year.
dennis walls is the head coach for union but there are too many coaches that help the team to say just one coach.
Isn't that the truth, AND THATS A GOOD THINK.
Programs would died to have just one of the union coaches and they have several.
All are qualified to be head coaches anywhere in KY.
oh yes very much so.
Right now, I'd say Adam Lindsey at John Hardin. What he's done with that program this year is remarkable. I just wonder if the Dawgs can keep it up.
i appreciate all the good coaching in ky, but my vote goes to coach brown from trinity , he is the adopted national coach (folkstyle) for most of the die hards in spring at the national events . i'll take him in my sons corner anytime.
As far as Coach Brown is concerned, I agree he is an excellent coach. He has been very instrumental in the development of Nickel over the past couple of years during the summer along with Frank Gercak. As far as state coach of the year, I have seen quite a few people post names of assistant coaches on here. If you look at any good program, although the head coaches get a lot of the credit as they deserve, they have to have great assistant in the background. That is why I like the fact that the KHSAA does the state coach of the year and always names 2 from the staff with the Head Coach & his assistant. As far as who deserves it this year, it would be hard not to give it to Dennis Walls & the Ervins @ Union County even though they are the defending state champs. They are just so dang good. Other good candidates would be Coach Upchurch @ Wayne, Coach Lindsey @ John Hardin, Coach Anderson @ Seneca, Coach Rudolph @ Trinity & Coach Canter @ LaRue. Canter has done quite a job after losing a lot of his wrestler from last year.
