yea matt sullivan didnt pin shoopman this year he beat him by points and i belive that it was 9 to 7 so its not that bad and shoopman will beat him at regional duals i think 152 finals will be johnson central and shoopman

How can you dismiss Frasier so easily?  He was the regional champion last year...

Stepp from Sheldon Clark beat Fisher from Letcher County and Chaffins from Sheldon Clark beat Staten from MCC so this should mix up the regional predictions a little bit.

The heavy from Johnson Central has really improved this year, he may figure into the equation some where.

Spencer (JC) was very impressive at 112 at the TCI this weekend.

All the animosity in region 8 is what make this region so exciting. from a bystanders point it seems that there are two good teams that have a right to say they are good wayne co. and sheldon clark. these are the most consistant teams that are always in the race for the regional championship, throw in all the teams that THINK they are good ie. McCreary, Johnson, and Letcher co. Then add some good old eastern Kentucky jealousy and hate and I would say we should have a good time at region duals and the region tournament.  remember this is just one mans opinion. :evil:

I don't think you can say that Johnson Central isn't good. They've been winning tournaments and their young wrestlers look really tough. There is no doubt that they should have several in the regional finals.

Wayne County is definitely the best team in the region but Johnson, Sheldon Clark, McCreary, and Letcher could all possibly be the second best team come region time.

Im not saying that they aren't any good, They are simply not as good as they seem to think they are.  I personally think that sheldon clark is a much better tournament team. maybe im wrong..  with region 8 who knows?  also if memory serves me correct troxell was beating kincer 7-0 just after the first period when he got caught last year at regions, and during the summer who knows what the weight difference was.  Also dont count Pace out on a huge upset, I mean he did it last year in the semi's at regions.. :wink:

troxell was up seven nothing but it want like Kincer caught him in a crazy throw or something. Kincer cradled him out of a front headlock. I agree if Troxell gets on top it may mean trouble for kincer.

Letcher County will not finish 2nd, theyll be lucky to get 5th behind wayne, johnson central,sheldon clark, and mcreary county.

Letcher finshed 20 points behind Sheldon Last weekend and beat McCreary and that was forfeiting 3 weight classes

So they finished what 2nd or 3rd, i dunno if johnson central was there. They wont be that close to sheldon clark at region when all the region teams are there to block letcher from winning so many matches. That would put them at 4th in the region and i think Mcreary will have more in the finals.

It very well maybe but you can't count anybody out untill it is over. He proved that last year when he beat kennedy and Marcum to win the region. Both had already beat him before that.
