Those are in no particular order, also there were some people I'm not sure what weight class they are in, so I just did it to the best of my knowledge.

I think until he gets on the mat (or at least gets his fat test done) many of us are assuming NO.

If Coty Lewis wrestles then I definitely think he will be a top contender, however someone reported that he looked nearly 20 lbs. over his wrestling weight from last season, I think if he wrestled at that weight he would still be a contender, but who knows. I have no inside knowledge to his situation however, i'm closer in tune to what is happening at Henry Clay and the other Lexington schools.

What is he waiting for, should he be allowed to wait all this time, drop the weight and than wrestle a couple matches, and worry about region and state?

As is looks right now, he'll get the weigh ins or matches he needs for region, wrestle there and probably wont even try that hard to get a good seed, than wrestle in state, if this is how its going to work, why is he allowed to do that?

I would love to know if there is.

He is not sitting out because of weight.  It has been a grades issue all year.  Well, basically his whole life.  The kid never does anything right....really a sad story.  A lot of talent, pretty much wasted.  Oh, did I mention lazy?

You have to have weighed-in at the weight you wish to wrestle at regionals before/on the state duals saturday.

A wrestler is supposed to be assessed in the first few days of practice.

The sad part of this is Cody will probably practice a couple days and wrestle off the kid who has out worked him in the class room and in the practice room and has earned this spot and really wants to be a part of the team and have a chance wrestle in the state duels and regions/state.

if I was a coach I wouldn't allow that to happen. I would let that kid who had been working hard all year before I would let coty wrestle even if he was a state champ.
