i know this is a very stacked weight class but i think it will come down to Vinsant and Zeppa...both are very good wrestlers...i give Vinsant the aggresiveness and strength but the technique would have to go to Zeppa

After D.C manhandled him for the last 5 minutes the kid caught him and D.C got pinned by one of the most horrible reffing jobs ive seen in a while, the kid got more than 45 seconds for a free move when D.C locked hands.  If your gonna brag tell the whole story, D.C could have teched him.

Zeppa is still undefeated right? He is a really tough wrestler, I think he only lost to aaron carr by 2 or 3 last year in the big east finals.

As always, a lot of this depends on the draw at state.  If one of these kids can stay away from the rest until the semis, that would greatly help their chances.  For example, one of these guys will win their region, but have to face either Voth or Parks in the 2nd round at state because one of them will finish 2nd in their region.  For now, I'll go with Zeppa until I see the regional placements & subsequent state draw.

I'm putting Zeppa as taking it, he was on fire at the region 5 duals. He stuck Whitehouse with an amazingly good spladle. I'm 100% sure that the 125 match at state will be the match of the year.

As for who he will be wrestling, its a tossup...

seems to be a reoccuring theme with dc, winning really bad, then end up losing. he needs to find out what he keeps doing wrong whether its conditioning or technique and fix it if he wants to place high this year.

Wempe beat Voth at the first meet of the year and it was a one point match before Wempe caught him in that cradle. They could go either way in a rematch and Voth has been on at 125 since then. Is Wempe undefeated this year?

Parks will win it, he's been involved in a few close matches with some good wrestlers where it could have gone either way.  Anybody want to sig bet?  (a bet where the winner gets to determine the loser's signature for an allotted period of time.  The signature has to be within reason.)

Lol ok, thanks for setting things straight. I wasnt getting to much accurate stuff from the coaches wife. Walls said Jake Wempe got screwed out of a takedown that would have put him in the finals over Sean Ford but who knows. Union and Ft Campbell will meet up sometime before the union duals.

I'm sure it happens at times that ref's are biassed for one reason or another, and a different state may be the key.  However, it is aweful easy to contribute a call that doesn't go in your favor to a ref's bias.  Especially if you are wrestling out of state.  It is my firm belief that if you feel you lost because of a ref, then you didn't do enough to win in the first place.

it's pretty bad that you guys have all forgotten dc evans from whitley from even having a shot....yeah he's lost a couple.  I mean everyone has a bad tournament....I mean give him some credit he's the only person to beat vinsant.  That's who is going to be in the finals.
