Any idea when the state brackets will be set?

Do they do it like high school 1 faces 4 and 2 faces 3 from region

Brackets will be posted as soon as the tournament directors have a chance to sit down and place the wrestlers in according the the random draw. hopefully, no later than Monday.

What team is the host for the state tournament this year?  I know in the past it has rotated between different teams with them in charge of running it.

Central Hardin High School is the host gym and has been since about 2004 or 05. LaRue is running it again this year.

This is not suppose to be a random draw. There is a formula that is used, but I can't find it. Someone listed it last year.

You're right.  It shouldn't be a random draw.  It hasn't been in the past.  I remember seeing the formula as well.

Does anyone know the method for setting the brackets? Is it a blind draw? Is there some secret formula? Just wondering. Thanks for the help.

Just from looking at the brackets so far I would say the ones vs fours seems to be what it looks like.  Not sure about  how they decide what region faces what region though.
