i dont think trigg county will ever have a wrestling program the way coach walls is talking, he had a little kids program there last year but that doesn't even look to good

You need to get your information straight. because there are many teams that are way out of there region.

I'm sorry dude not good at all. Larue isn't going 1 north to there region duals and Union isn't going 2 1/2 hrs east to there region duals either.

and no way is lexington, bourbon and harrison in central ky going to meet up with whitley and wayne down at the south border

Region 1 would be a joke.

What in the world were you trying to do?  Just change some things up?  There is no balance in either competition or geography. 

Why take Union out of region 1 making it 8 teams and send them to region 2 with 10 teams.

In many cases you have teams passing other schools to get to teams in thier region. 

No sense what so ever.

I agree Bear, plus UHA doesnt exactly have a full team and as for Trigg, no word from jason about keeping it going.

I just wanted to try a little experment, besides I know its not the best knowing that wayne, whitley, and McCreary are in region 7, and the oldham county schools with like anderson , nelson ecta, I wanted to put the Louisville in 2 regions with no other team

We'll have a new program in region 6. Cooper High School should have a team.

It is more reasonable to have wayne, whitley and McCreay in region 7 (1.5 hour trip) than region 8. Those 3 teams are about 2 and half to 3 hours away from the other teams in the east (JC, Sheldon Clark, Ashland, Lawrence County, Pike County, Prestonsburg, etc).

I agree with head over heals, those are horrible, what gives you any thought that you can rearrange the region anyway even if it is just for discussion, if that is to be done, it will done by the KHSAA or coaches association.
