I have a suggestion....take a football knee pad or something of the same signifigance and cut out the center and the edges to fit your headgear. Take some athletic tape and run it aroung the earpiece...making sure to run the tape down in the earcup. wa lah

yea but they always bend in i have a pair of the of cliff keen headgear with prewrap in the ear for padding
Padding from the training room, sticky on one side. Or do what Jiminey said, works well.
Another option is to let it get hard, less painful than draining. Besides, chick dig it!
