I was on Flowrestling tonight and saw a video about the Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling team and their weightlifting program. This is how you have to train if you want to be successful at the highest levels. You should really check it out, very cool. The link is below.

Great video. If that's how the best do it, that's the way you should do it.
I think there is a few thinks to point out:
1.this was in season training, obviously they change workouts geared for the periodization
2. Notice that everything on that day was geared on back and power
he made a comment on how everything was not bodybuilding technique but horse power. When are you ever in a perfect lift position in wrestling. Everything is dynamic.
seems like every kid zeros in on the bench press, thats good for wrestling if you are on your back.
i personally don't bench at all.. every one of my lifts are on arms stomach back and legs and also neck
i start from 8 on the first then 7 then 6 all the way down to 1 each time
basically when your done you can't lift your arms and you wobble around
AKA til failure.
