I am curious to know what everyone else thinks. What is a good price for a wrestling camp to send your kids to?
THE COST OF WRESTLING CAMP

i would say it depends on the camp.....and a lot of other variables. you can get into some really good camps for $250-$350. Some camps to check out are:
Cumberland College
Team Miron (Ohio)
Jeff Jordan
Jeff Jordan's is by far the best for the money. I'm thinkin' (don't remeber exactly) it was $265 for a week. This is not too far and is taught by one of the most successful coaches and wrestlers to come out of Ohio. He's the head coach of St. Paris Graham. The tough part is getting in. Contact him at

I have to totally agree with PeaceMaker...Jeff Jordans is by far the best camp i ever went too, i know conner sent there team last year there and it made huge dividen in the wrestling room and on the mat.
Jordan has several freestyle camps running in march for a few days each.
Jeff Jordan's State Champ Camp is the top-of-the-line camp east of the Mississippi... maybe the nation.
Let his kid be a testimony on how well he teaches wrestling, he's one of the top 10 wrestlers in the country at 125 for Paris Graham.
That is his nephew, Ben Jordan. But Jim Jordan (Ben' dad and Jeff's brother) teaches for a few days at his camp and he was also i believe a four time state champ.
Ooops ... someone told me it was his kid. Nonetheless, i'm sure they've worked together quite often !
Another got camp is the Appalachian State University wrestling camp. I am not real sure of the price. If you want a price form last years talk to some people from Johnson Central or Sheldon Clark.
private camps are the best way to go. not camps with 100's of kids. camps with 20 kids who are really trying to get better
Thanks guys, I appreciate your reply's.
Applachian State is a good camp for around $250-300. It's only drawback is the distance.

Ken Chertow wrestling camp...for 2 weeks I think its around 1,600 but my opinion its worth it.. always has the best coaches there and some of the countries top wrestlers (Dustin Schlatter was there my senior yr, along with Tommy Rowlands, along with some St. Eds kids)
