I'm a big Coty fan, so don't anybody get mad. But the funniest thing to watch was him get frustrated. He straight up pump faked the crowd at state last season. lol

Coty is wrestling under a Iowa State signee that had to leave Iowa state for drugs, so i heard could be rumor. The funniest is when he had hat giant blonde afro at state when he lost to Caleb Wood. :mrgreen:
I saw him at the WC practices during the thanksgiving break and he was completely focused. A totally different wrestler. I hope he is able to do well out there. It seems that he has figured some life lessons out.

me and a friend of mine talked to him, one year at state and his words to us were "ive already proved everything i need to"... his exact words.
well i mean whatever makes you happy. he did accomplish something many wreslters never dream of though, but i will mention that it was at two middle school and freshman dominated weight classes when he did this.

The person in front of Coty did come from UI and I guess will be returning when he gets his life in order since Iowa Central is a community college. Coty has made some mistakes, as we all have, but having known Coty I'd bet he will do himself a favor and listen to the people at ICCC and change for the better. After talking to those close to him it looks like this is happening. I look forward to seeing him as a young mature adult very soon. If his schedule permits it would be nice to see him at the state tournament.

You have to put your self in the right situations. What happened to the military?
That was the plan until I didn't finish this season. Now I feel like my wrestling was never finished. When i'm in the right environment and my drinking is in check, I won't have a problem with weight or dedicating my time to the sport. It's been good to me. I was under the impression you had already signed up. I am not to familiar with the process but I did not think you could just back out of it. College can be thr right enviroment or the worse, it's all about what YOU want. I wish you the best. Are you going to be a walk on, or have you been offered some type of scholarship (academic/sports)?

Being in the military myself, I can tell you that once you join, there are plenty of opportunities to back out. Its not until you actually ship out to boot camp are you binded to your contract. I'm almost 100% sure Dusty has yet to sign up, and had this once in a lifetime opportunity not presented itself, Mr. Stengel would be in the Delayed Entry Program.
