Background checks on coaches to protect the athletes

There is a big push from National to get background checks on coaches to protect the athletes. It is recommended that each club do a background check on anyone who works with kids. Be prepared to receive reminders about this throughout the year. USAW will be doing background checks of each coach who takes kids on USAW sponsored trips (Fargo, duals, etc.) National Office is looking at implementing an automatic background check on anyone who buys a coach
