Topic ID: 4285 | 23 Posts

It seems to me that in years past that they posted and updated brackets online for the Super32 during the tournament.  Does anyone remember if they have done that for sure in the past?  It would be nice to be able to see how our KY boys are doing next weekend.  It is showing 4 registered from KY.  Good luck guys!!!

Myron Bradbury 112 yes 1st 3rd 11 Trinity KY

John Fahy 103 yes 9 Trinity KY

Robert Bracco 103 yes 2nd 11 Woodford County KY

Harrison Courtney 152 yes 1st 1st 12 Woodford County KY

There was a preview of the super 32 challenge.  It mentions two of our guys by name as ones to watch.  Good luck to those going.

Im pretty sure you will also be able to watch matches live at this site too from 145 - heavy no lighter weights i dont think because of the way they have things set up here

Congatulations to all!

Wow. Fahy is a stud

After watching Fahy wrestle the last two years this does not surprise me at all...In my opinion Fahy would have been a state champ last year at 103. The kid is as good as all the hype around him

Fahy is a beast...

Had he wrestled high school last year... 5 time state champion, i wonder why he didn't seeing as how he could be the first to do this. Something even Joe Carr Jr. couldn't pull off.

if you dont already know this fahy wouldnt have even filled out 103 last year. Jarvis Elam(last years state champ if u didnt know) wrestled with him last year and there is no way fahy would have won states last year

How close were the matches?  Just wondering how good Fahy is, havn't seen him wrestle yet.

Well they didnt acually wrestle matches. Fahy came to union and wrestled a few times to practice and him and elam wrestled around. Elam was just too big and strong for him. I couldnt see fahy beating him last year.

I guess you'd make the same statement of Dan Smith whipping Elam then?

Well then if they never actually wrestled a match then you don't know what the outcome would be. There is a huge difference from "just wrestling around" and wrestling an actual match, especially if it would be in the state finals. You have to take into account cautions, stallings, etc. Elam may have accidentaly illegally slammed Fahy a few times seeing as he is so strong...

Technique tromps strength anyday, but there is a certain limitation on that. And to incinuate that i don't know who Jarvis Elam is, thats dumb. I've actually wrestled Jarvis Elam.

Yea technique does overcome strength. But dont get me wrong, Elam has good technique too. And like i said Fahy was way too small for 103 last year and Elam was a pretty big 103. Thats an advantage.

And u said that u have wrestled Jarvis. How did u do against him???

He beat me by 2.
