Hmm. Fine. Trinity or Campbell this year? I say Trinity, top to bottom has more loaded guns.
Champs (or close) at 103, 112, 171
placer at 140,189, and 285.
3 state champs score alot of points. I don't see Whiting winning, yes he is a man among boys, but for god sakes he is a crap wrestler. His technique boils down to a tackle, and while it's a mean tackle, I don't believe he wins it. I also don't think messina gets near a medal.
Campbell:
Champs (or close) at 140, 145
places at 125, 160, 171, 215
1 or 2 champs, and then 5 placers. Alot of points, but trinity's 103, 112, and 171 are pretty much locks. Shotwell and Brown are not. However in my opinion (Eastern fans I don't want to hear you cry) I think if Shotwell and Davis met up, Shotwell lays him down this year. As for 145, Shotwell and Davis are heads above the rest, no one else on that list makes the finals unless Davis and Shotwell are on the same side of the bracket.
There.... debate.

No he took a scholarship to play soccer instead.

The problem is that back in the day there was alot of debate between these schools, but for the last ten years there has been no debate Christian Co has beaten Hoptown everytime and won't come close again this year.

There is a chance Davis and Shotwell won't even be the same weight if JD can make 140

Wow. Amazing. Justin Davis medaled his first year ever wrestling, was a state champ his second year wrestling after winning decisively most of last season while being counted out and overlooked AND providing, arguably, the most entertaining and commanding performance in the state finals, and STILL, he's ignored.
This was a comparison of Campbell Co and Trinity (I dont know why the Old Co wrestler is in there unless he is transfering to Trinity).
Relax MatMama, don't get the insecurity started too early. Like has been said, the post you are referring to was comparing Trinity and Campbell. At least let someone directly talk about Davis.

Read the rest of the post before you jump up and remind us all how put down Davis is. For lord sakes.

Sorry bout that matmama. Didn't know that Justin Davis was trasfering to either Campbell or Trinity. (I also fixed the Old Co. boy)
No one is ignoring Davis. We all know what he accomplished last year. What really bothers me however is that a one dimensional wrestler such as Mr. Davis is still able to become a state champion in Ky. Same as the boy from Southern a few years back (His name escapes me and I'm to lazy to look it up right now.)
I like it.. I think Union will have a few people placing this year to be up in the running.

Sorry, I didn't catch the Campbell/Trinity reference, especially since Justin had been mentioned earlier. "The boy from Southern" you refer to, by the way, is Joe Powers. Funny, even Olympic Wish, who had many unflattering comments about Justin through the season, was willing to admit he was wrong after Justin won the final. Clearly you don't know what he accomplished last year.

Don't be a hater. He won it all and I honestly think he could've done it in many states. What evidence is there to say his top/bottom game is weak? why get on the mat when your that dominant on the feet? Maybe JD is one-dimensional by keeping matches on the feet, but believe me he's no slouch on the mat either. Justin Davis really shouldn't be put in the same category as Powers, he is a whole lot better.
ugh. i thought we were talking about Trinity and Campbell. I swear to god I am getting tired of the lets all (actually like the same 3 people) hang and swing from justin davis
HE'S PRETTY GOOD.... HE WON A CHAMPIONSHIP AND HE MIGHT THIS YEAR
WE GET IT
WE GET IT
WE GET IT
We get it, he is nothing like Joe Powers Matt Mines, or anyone else, he is his own man, so unique like the most beautiful snowflake in all the land.
WE GET IT
