i know there was video of the 07 finals and ive tried looking for them a few days ago but the website
kentuckyyouthsports is gone
so i would like to see both 07 and 08 video
oh yea me too. Im sure there was somebody who recorded them.
I have always said that there is a money making opportunity there. The KHSAA could make DVDs and sell them at a marked up rate and make a decent profit.
Yea that wouldnt be a bad idea. In fact thats a good idea.
They tried that back in 85 & 86 then stopped it. The tape of the finals was fine but that was all they had and kids and parents were mad because they wouldn't let them tape at all. So you didn't get to see your first four rounds and if you didn't make it to the finals you didn't have any of your matches taped.
So would you let parents tape there kids or would you ban recorders just for the finals?

I say let anyone tape. I'm assuming the state DVD would be "professionally done" plus they would have access to the best spots for taping (they could block off an area if necessary). Trust me, if you made it to the finals, you would want more than mommy's tape.
yeah. i hate it when ever refs try and not let my parents take pictures of my matches, or even film. it's very dissappointing when you want to watch a match and can't.
