Im sure GOO or Bulldog-Leader can help with this question; what was (in your own opinion obviously) the toughest weight class in one region in any year. For example (making this up) in year 1987 in region 1 there was the first, second, fourth, and eighth ranked wrestler. Just a thought...

In the 2000, when we had the old regions, the top four in no specific order at 103 in region 4 were:
Billy Clark- 2002 State Champion
Doug Upchurch- 2001 State Champion
Nick Chaffin- 2003 State Champion
Luke Metzker- 2000 and 2002 State Champion
Thats a pretty tough bracket!!! :-o

Check out the state tournament bracket from that year... Several finalists, and other placers. Joey Hagedorn, Billy Whitehouse, Tony Perry, Michael Ford were all finalists, many of them multiple time finalists.
