Did anyone ever find out what the KHSAA rules state on this?  Hadn't heard about this rule and haven't been able to find where it is on the KHSAA web site.

4) A school may schedule a maximum of seventeen (17) matches

in each weight class. Tournaments or contests involving three

(3) or more schools shall count as one (1) match toward the

match limit.

You can have a max of 17 "varsity" weigh-ins.  JV tournaments do not count.  State and regions do not count.  That's 17 regular season weigh-ins designated as varsity competition only.  A 2 day tournament where the teams must weigh-in twice counts as 1 weigh-in.  For example, the WCI counts just the same as a normal Wednesday dual.  They both count as 1 weigh-in.
