Richard Starks Video

Topic ID: 4581 | 10 Posts

He's 2-0 through two rounds (wins over Minnesota and Appy St)

His opponent, if I am not mistaken, used to wrestle at Ft. Campbell.

Check out the bracket.  Once I clicked on the video and saw that name I knew it sounded too familiar...

Wow that kid pretty much doubled in size in eight years! Do you think it is the same kid?

I don't know but there can't be too many people out there by that name!

This guy is a junior from Waynesville, Missouri (Waynesville HS), although he could have moved from Kentucky.  The age doesn't seem to add up, but you never know.

Just checked the latest results and Richard won his third match as well. www.lonestarduals.com

Since he wrestled at Ft.Campbell, (military base) it is likely that he did move sometime.

Richard went 3-1.

I just looked him up on Minnesota's wrestling page.  It says he red-shirted 03'-04', then served in Iraq.  So, if his first year was 03'-04', then it fits the time line of him wrestling in the 2000 state tourney as a freshman (senior in 03').
