ever heard of major dec? jk but yea a bunch of those finals were majors

Where did Woodford go this weekend?

i think their varsity took the weekend off, and watched their jv at the tci.

I see the match between Hedges and Schneider was very close, anyone have comments on that match, just interested

bryant over brown???

hedges hit a very nice gator roll early on and got 2 takedown and 3 backs but i think the ref only gave him 2 backs and no one said anything about it. the rest of the match was pretty much a bunch of scramble but not too much scoring very entertaining match.

the brown and bryant match was a nail biter very good awesome scrambles very close.

wheres dusty brown?

Was Johnson Centrals whole varsity team there this weekend? If so who beat jude, grim, and freeman.

wheres dusty brown?

he was out due to an injury. he said he'll be back next weekend, or at the latest the weekend after next.

JC only sent a few kids because they wrestled at Grundy (mon, tues). Jude, grim, and freeman, etc didn't wrestle.

no.  i think i seen jude there or his twin brother but he did not wrestle.

Jude's little brother wrestled at the TCI. But not him

Jude doesnt have a brother, he is an only child.

Speaking of brothers, was that Harrison Courtney's little brother wrestling at like 125 or 130 at the TCI? He looked alot like him and was a tough little sucker.I think he placed like 5th or so.Any body have a clue?

I think Wyatt Courtney was wrestling 130 at TCI.

Yeah, that was his little brother. His name is Wyatt. If you saw him with legs in, you would notice resemblance

I was not impressed at all with kasey hedges. I think he got a lucky move and manage to keep the win. Caleb is good. And i dont think hedges will get the win next time around.

yeah i understand how wrestling smart could be counted as lucky.

Yep not impressed at all. He only beat the #2, 125 in the state. Nothing that big. :x

i thought kasey got lucky when he beat Travis K but he showed at TCI that he has more than funk and throws by beating caleb when he only got 4 points for his 5 point move. he wrestled smart and stayed offensive the whole time he never stalled and worked just as hard as caleb. after getting the lead he went to basics. like TC125 if wrestling smart is lucky then he was a lucky guy

also many would put that i started at a one point disadvantage with that takedown call by the ref in the first couple seconds of the match. thats two points im behind by the end of the match right there...

I have a feeling that The-Beast is from Campbell Co.! Hedges wrestled a terrific match from start to finish, and for the record, I don't think someone can amass a 26-0 record purely on luck. The kid has worked hard for several years in the wrestling room and it is paying off for him now more than ever. Don't take anything away from that young man. They were evenly matched and Kasey got the best of Schneider this time. We will see who's truly better when the chips are down on Feb 21. Until then, accept that Hedges is won the match and therefore should be held with slightly higher regard. By the way, if Schneider had been more aggressive, maybe his hand would have been raised instead.

I think Wyatt Courtney was wrestling 130 at TCI.

what grade is he in?

Kasey is a senior.

what grade is he in?

7th Grade

Schneider is on a different level than Hedges.  Ever seen him wrestle at State?  He really turns it on there.
