toughest region for a weight

Topic ID: 467 | 8 Posts

for example

region six is the toughest region for 145 with aylor, wilson, and cooper

region 8 has best 103's sullivan, spencer, evans

region 5 has best 125's suell, branch, scott, warner

region 5 has the best 119's wood, warner, murner

Region 6 has lately become very tough, not only at 145, but also at 152 and 160.

152 - Cooper, Valdez, Casson and Denham

160 - Hildreth, King, Hovecamp and Rison

Both of these weight classes were fairly weak in the 6th early in the season.

how bout region 7 at 140. 7 kids in the rebel rankings

Region 5- 215- Scherer, Wise, Martinko and a couple others.

171- Rupp, Houshens, J-Town kid(sorry I don't know his name but he's decent), Hardin and a couple others.

125 as you said and that's about it for region 5 as for stacked weigh classes.

overall the hardest weight class in one region would have to be region 6 at 145

I AGREE THAT BY FAR REGION 6 AT 145 IS THE TOUGHEST.

COOPER, AYLOR, WILSON- I CAN PRETTY MUCH GUARANTEE THAT ONE OF THOSE GUYS WILL WIN IT THIS YEAR. I DONT THINK COURTNEY HAS IT IN HIM.

The Campbell Co / Ryle duel tonight showcased some good region 6 talent.

Valdez escaped with a win over Brownfield tonight (13-11 in a wild one ... Brownfield survived the initial onslaught, and discovered Valdez tanks bad) from Campbell and Brownfield beat Casson at Conference. Adding him into that mix toughens it up even more.

Hovecamp beat Hildreth by one tonight, that was a good match. But after Hildreth, King, and Hovecamp it drops off.

Wilson over Aylor tonight, by like 3 ? Puts Wilson up 3-2 in that series ... too bad for Brian his two losses to him were region and state. Is Cooper here still, or did they both bump up ? If so, that makes 152 and 160 two brutal classes.

Peace beat Rust by two, Rust was up 3-0 and Peace rallied to go up two with about 30 seconds to go. Looks to be a great one at regionals, they were competitive last time too. Two really good guys at that class ... both capable of top 5 finishes when they're on their game.

Billy Fuller and Greg Ashworth was a competitive match ... Ashworth bumped up to 215 for the duel. Ashworth won 4-0.

Shotwell and Isler was good at 112 with the win going to Shotwell. Those two could surprise some guys down at state.

Come to think of it, there's a lot of talent bubbling out of this region this year. This duel alone showed a lot of talent, and adding in guys like Thuneman, Goldsby, and the like not even in this duel this region is about as good as any if not the best.

How about region 2. 125 with #4 Cassidy Veach 11th John Hardin, #5 Stacy Miller 12th Larue County and #6 Matt Eck 11th North Hardin. Also 112 with #4 Lucas Carman 10th Larue, Mason Bradburry 9th Central Hardin and #9 Josh Johnson 8th North Hardin. Have these guys wrestled each other and what were the outcomes?
