I was looking at the 8th graders last year and they are all monsters!!! It was a strong class and there will be no other like it for a long time. So who are the top 10 freshmen?

You missed Bernard Ray and Chase Rusch.  Yes, it is shaping up to be a pretty impressive class.  I'm sure a few more will step up over the next 3 seasons.

I would think Omar Jarvis should be on this list somewhere.

Corey McCall beat Shawn Hull in their one and only meeting last year and Jarvis beat McCall twice.  So, Jarvis should bump Hull from that list.

I agree.  Sounds like maybe he got caught early in that match.  Happens to most of us at some point in our career.

I also think that John Stout (125) from Bourbon Countydeserves some consideration. I'm not from Bourbon but have watched him for a couple of years now and he has to be one of the "smoothest" young wrestlers out there.

From i understanding murphy had his on back 2 time in the first 30sec befor pinning him.

Brent Hitchings - 2 or 3 time M.S. state champion should be considered.  I guess when Fahy is on your team you get overlooked.

Just for that, I smite thee...If you can't be the best, then shoot for the worst. There is no fun in being mediocre.. :-D

Brent Hitchings is the best freshman wrestler in the state who is unable to crack the lineup due to the Fahy and Bradburry.  I am sure they will find a spot for him next year. 

Little Hitchings weighed in at 112 Saturday and beat Byron Hoskinson at 119.
