great job ranger.

but i did hear that william norrhington might not be wrestling any more

I think PRP has a couple guys that have some difficulties to overcome in the last month of the season.  For now I'm assuming they will be able to do that and get on the mat come Valentine's Day.

good job Ranger

Great job ranger, but you have Caleb berry (Har co) ranked at 152, and Coty berry (Har co) ranked at 140. You have the two mixed up, Coty is the heavier one and wrestles at 152. And Coty berry (Har co) beat #9 Justin black (Cam co) this past tuesday.

Yeah, someone already beat you to the punch on that one.  I also registered that result.  2 things that I considered when looking at the match.  Black had a concussion.  And the other part of the season.  I haven't heard anything about Berry.  And I talk to people in Harrison County all of the time.  Black has on 1 loss in KY (before last night, Logan Murrell) and has beat Jakes of Larue and Wright of Tates Creek.

nelsons 135 alex pearson pinned jacob vincent in 30 seconds and was beating perez ft knox by two when he got thrown last second

Great rankings ranger I just have a few things to say, proctor from south oldham is going to 145. Bollman of oldham beat stuerle of north at the region duals, and at 171 not saying anything bout the rankings just stating a weird fact. Menard from oc has beaten a few people that are ranked rele high, thinking that he's gonna be doing good for the day but then he loses to lower kids haha but I do think that Toth from oldham should be a little high at 35 but since he hasn't wrestled there yet I can understand his rank but he'll be at 35 either this weekend or next depending on the body plan and then hopefully he can start getting some quality wins

Robbie Sahms is a Junior

but good job on the rankings

Yea, Menard beat Lofton Wright at WCI.  I watched the match, but, Lofton looked extremely out of shape, i think, because he didn't start coming to practice until a couple of days before the tournament. And, i think if Menard and Wright meet up again when Wright is able to go a full 6 minutes then the result might be a little different.

There are a couple teams I just can't figure out.  Oldham happens to be one of them.  Kids win big matches and then lose some that make me wonder which one is real and which one is the fluke.  And it happens multiple times to really make it tough.  In the end it hurts them because it makes it hard for me to see them making it through a 32 man bracket without having one or two of those bad matches.

Awesome job as always Ranger.

ranger great great job on rankings.  For those who argue u r ranking too many they are wrong.  Many kids that are new to this might enjoy seeing their name at # 40 and see if maybe they can climb the rankings.  As a new fan to this sport I appreciate what u do and will help all I can.  The more information out there the betterThanks again Ranger!

I definately agree

Will Battle? Wrestling or not. just wondering

he quit because he said he didnt like it anymore and coach didnt let him wrestle one weekend because he missed practice all week so yea he is done

Brandon Barnett Harr Co 171 just stuck Haynes NH in the first period at Franklin County.  Also Lenz and Garth should be goin at it within the hour.

Barnett pins #7 Bell in the finals at  franklin county.  Also Zarth beats Lenz 14-6 in finals :-(  Good job guys

130:Norbury SK pin thompson Frank 3rd whalen HC

135: Podgorski HC 6-2 Bernard boone 3rd Pearson nelson over brunker har 10-5 OT

140: gulier hc T-fall Taylor Nelson taylor also stuck Kimbrell TC today in the semi's

145: Bollman pinned L. Beto in 2nd period

152- TC wright I think, beat Talton OC

at 119 tyler boone (ohio) beat jimmy lacy (lafayate) by 5 at the big east

119 Tyler Boone way under rated. He only has 2 losses and handled Lacy(Laff.) and Bisenus (SO) pretty soundly.

andy kiper has now moved down to 140  and thats where he will be staying....just figured i would let ya no just in case you hadnt heard

Judson Pitman from Paducah beat Adam Lynch from Ohio yesterday and placed higher than Zach Sowder from Scott. Zach Pitman 125 also beat the Laf. kid and got 3rd at the big east

Brandon Abney is supposed to be bumping up to 112 now that Zac Brown is out for the season.

119 Tyler Boone way under rated. He only has 2 losses and handled Lacy(Laff.) and Bisenus (SO) pretty soundly.

wats his win record

i think he is 26-2...its somewhere around there i know

His dad thinks it was the whole issue were him and his brother Chase got mixed up last year. I onsider Tyler Boone alot tougher then Kellen Ferguson from Clarksville

so with demery beating down hedges would that bring down headges and everyone else up

I dont think it should cause he wrsetled like a beast

so it woudet bring down hedges

Tyler Lowe of Per Co Cen is now wrestling 145, and beat Chris Wallace of JH. At the Fandetti Brawls in Johnson city tn. He placed 5th out of 16 teams and some of the teams were nationally ranked.

Chris Wallace didnt wrestle this weekend. He probably beat Jeremiah Mcgee.

i wouldnt think hedges would drop much he has beaten many of the top ranked wrestlers lossing to one does not mean he deserves to drop but demery should move up for sure

there's a difference in losing and getting owned

ive seen hedges wrestle a few matches around the state and it seems like the wrestling style that he uses is fairly risky with lots of rolls and tosses, but wins him many, many matches but may cause him to lose a few as well.

    Just my opinion.

this is true i think him a terry would be a risky match because they both have a funky style of wrestling

there's a difference in losing and getting owned

agreed but are you saying that travis k and schneider should drop?

i think the new top 8 for 125 will look something like this (i dont know all the results from this weekend)

1  Un Co  Aaron Carr  12

2  Ryle  Austin Palmer  11

3  CH  Kyle Terry  10

4  NH  Terrance Demery  11

5  TC  Kasey Hedges  12

6  Cam Co  Caleb Schneider  12

7  Wood Co  Travis Krauziewicz  11

8  JH  Kirby Goodwine  11

has kyle terry wrestled demery?

yes he did beat him 9 to 4

Hey matrat, stop talking about yourself in 3rd person. Its no secret who you are.

wat are u talking bout

At the Fandetti Brawl in Tennessee, Tyler Lowe of Perry beat Jeremiah McGee of John Hardin 10-3 for fifth place at 145.

yes he did beat him 9 to 4

he also lost to demery once to

my 125 would be

1 carr

2 demery(really looked impressive and on a mission since his loss to terry)

3 palmer

4 hedges

5 terry... and so on

well this weekend at north hardin should be good terrance and terry should face off again

well this weekend at north hardin should be good terrance and terry should face off again

ya i hope they will face each other thier both gonna be very determined to win should be a awsome match to watch

Capital City results after 152  would like to know

thanks dogwood. Lowe of perry did wrestle mcghee for fifth. I also watched lowe wrestle a number 1 ranked  wrestler from Cleveland, tn. He was beaten 8-2 and also busted his bursa sac in that match. And that took alot from him but he still ended up finishing 5th. Lowe is one to watch out for at the state tournament.

I think Travis K wins region 7.

Brandon Abney is supposed to be bumping up to 112 now that Zac Brown is out for the season.

can anyone from tc confirm this?

well this weekend at north hardin should be good terrance and terry should face off again

Oh this should be a very good match, the tie breaker. haha

going 112 would be a smart move for abney.  !03 has  6 of top 21 in his region.  112 has 3 of top 20  might be an easier path to state.

can anyone from tc confirm this?

i cant confirm it for sure, but i know he is thinking about it seriously. more than likely i think that he will.

Keaton Hub beat the HC 215 at Capital City.

i cant confirm it for sure, but i know he is thinking about it seriously. more than likely i think that he will.

Bad idea, he will get dominated at 112 lbs.

ok thanks

Bad idea, he will get dominated at 112 lbs.

Maybe so, but it's not worth cutting as much weight as he is to wrestle 103.

i guess we'll find out when he bumps up.

ya i agree. and i dont think he'll get dominated he might not be as sucessful but i think he could make it to state

question..  I have watched Lenz wrestle at 3 different weight classes and excel at all.  At which weght class would he have a better shot at winning state.  Not that he would win any but does he have a better shot at beating Bradbury at 112 or Zarth at 119.  And don't respond neither.  Just an honest question.

id say bradbury at 112 is who he would have the better shot of beating zarth was just to big for him to handle

Lenz has a good shot at winning 112.  I'd say he'd be battling for 5th or 7th at 119.

     171

1   Tri   Brad Hitchings   11

2   Ryle   Will Hogben   12

3   NH   Marcell Haynes   12

4   Ohio Co   Jordan Woolen   12

5   Ft Knox   Sean Garcia-Chavez   12

6   Sou   Jordan Blakemore   12

7   PD   Nick Leddy   12

8   WH   Josh Bell   11

9   Fr Co   Jeremy Gardner   11

10   Sen   Lofton Wright   11

11   St X   David George   12

12   Cald Co   Gavin Agnew   11

13   Chr Co   Calvin McNeeley   12

14   Wood Co   Nick Guagliardo   12

15   Irq   Alex Meads   12

16   Laf   Dusty Thompson   11

17   Har Co   Brandon Barnett   10

18   BC   Justin Bernard   12

I thinks Barnett should be ranked higher than he is.  Especially sinece he has beaten #9 Garner, #8 Bell and #3 Haynes.  Granted he hasn't beaten #16 Thompson, but I don't think Thompson has beaten the two Barnett beat this weekend.  Garner got beat early in the competition on Saturday.  I think Barnett pinned Hayes in less than 30 Seconds on Sat. and Bell in the first period.

i dont know how much this will affect anything, but andrew wright of tates creek beat logan murrell at the capitol city in double overtime. the logan has beaten andrew by one or two points the other times they have wrestled. andrew is tough, and i wouldnt be surprised if he beat logan again the next time they wrestled.

If Lowe beat mghee of JH then there will be a change when the next rankings come out because mghee is ranked #30 at 152 and Lowe is ranked #35.

i would say because the way bradbury wrestles that lenz would have a beteer shot at beating zarth but the fact of the matter is that shot is very small but i would also say that lenz has a better shot at making it to the finals at 112 than at 119

Dustin Burchett (Sheldon Clark) was beating Vince Staten (McCreary Central) 3-1, while Staten Stalled the whole 3rd period waiting till the last 30 seconds to making a move, and ended up pinning Burchett.

Also, Ryan Harlow (Johnson Central) beat Staten in overtime.

I dont think he has a shot at making it to the finals at either weight class. There are just better kids in both...

Brad Milford pinned Tyler Gies from Boone Co but got decisioned by Alex Brown from Simon Kenton and Zack Plowman from Nelson Co.

If Lowe beat mghee of JH then there will be a change when the next rankings come out because mghee is ranked #30 at 152 and Lowe is ranked #35.

Both wrestlers have dropped to 145.  Makes keeping the rankings updated that much harder.

I have also heard that Lowe is going to 140 this coming weekend

And if Lowe really does go to 140 then when region comes around him and grimm would be the match to see.

Plus i mean it doesn't seem like alot but the weight change shuts lenz down , logsdon proved that at region 7 super duals. Lenz had logsdon worked for the first period, but logsdon came back with  17 16 victory. Got to handle the weight the whole match.

exactly the point. anyone thats made a five pound change from 25 to 30 or 35 to 40 for example knows how much of a change in strength that is. can you imagine 12 to 19?

Do rankings come out tonight or tommorrow night?

every wednesday

exactly the point. anyone thats made a five pound change from 25 to 30 or 35 to 40 for example knows how much of a change in strength that is. can you imagine 12 to 19?

Im a 112 forced to wrestle 119 for lineup issues, and the difference is huge. I consider it a miracle I win any matches when im at such a disadvantage. But I finally get to go down to 112 this weekend

While there seems to be a lot of debate about wrestling up I have a great example of how that can hinder a kid.  Bourbon's 119 Lopez wrestled up all year and finally got to 112 at Tates Creek tournament.  He finished 4th there and finished 4th at Capital city.  He has pinned Brad Milford twice, once at 119 and once at 112 (TCI) and he beat Gies from Boone at Capital City.  So getting in the proper weight class that suits your skill, size and strength is very important.  Lopez might even deserve a ranking this week.  What do you think Ranger.

Perry Centrals Tyler Lowe is a senior

140 from central hardin johhy erble quit the other day at pratice for his own reasons

I guess Robbie Sahms quit. Mrs Gusse changed her mind and refused to let him go 130 anymore this season, and Robbie got pissed off and quit. Zach Green is our 130 now. He placed 5th at 119 (regionals) last year filling in for Robbie

Lar Co  Bernard Ray  9 pined, Bull Cen  Jeremiah Walls  12, tonight at JHHS

what was the score before the match and howd he get pinned
