What team will win region 6

i think ryle personally

With the finals looking like this....just a prediction.....I give Ryle the win.

I am going to take a stab at Region 6 finals pairings and outcomes:

103-Yenter CC v Ruschell Ryle     Ruschell by dec

112-Orsello-Ryle v R Supe Scott      Supe by dec

119-Osborne Ryle v. S Supe-Scott  or Cooper - SK  Osborne by fall  (I hear Supe may cut to 119-or he stays at 125)

125-Schneider CC v Palmer Ryle       Palmer by dec

130-Norbury SK v Bates Cooper       Norbury by maj dec

135  Roland Ryle v Bernard  BC     Roland by maj dec

140  Shotwell CC v Brewer Cooper     Shotwell by fall

145  Brown CC v Bolog Ryle         Brown by dec

152  Mace Ryle v Adams  Conner     Mace by dec

160  Lee  CC  v  Coyle  Ryle         Coyle by dec

171  Hogben Ryle v Bernard BC    Hogben by fall

189  Bradford Ryle v Dockery  Conner   Bradford by fall

215  Ilg CC v Van Winkle SK     Ilg by fall

HWT  Adams Ryle v Patrick SK    Adams by dec

I am going to say Campbell county will come out with the win at region.

I think its a toss up for Ryle and CC.

Champions are clear: Hogben, Osborne, Bradford, Roland, for Ryle; Shotwell, Brown, Ilg for Campbell County

Toss up: 1. Palmer-vs-Schneider, I can't predict this one, depends who wants it more, both are capable of winning or losing.

            2. Yenter-vs-Ruschell, last time 1 point dec for Ruschell,  we have been feeding Yenter, he now weighs 92 lbs!

            3. 112, CC beat Ryle last time they wrestled, Supe from Scott will likely win the wt. CC or Ryle in the finals is alot of advancing points

4  130, CC Hale beat Ryle Lonkard last time they wrestled. Who makes it to the finals? Norbury will win, but Bates also in hunt for finals.

            5. 152, CC Black beat Ryle Parker last time, but hasnt wrestle their new varsity Mace. big match.

            5. 160 CC Lee beat Ryle Coyle last time they wrestled, big deciding match.

            6. Heavy, Ryle Adam beat CC Frank in overtime last time they wrestled. Big boys are always a toss up.

People have their opinions about who will win, but all depends on who makes it into the finals. Alot of advancing points once making it into the finals.

Campbell County could have 11 in the finals. 3,12,25,30,35,40,45,52,60,215,hvy

Ryle could have 11 in the finals. 3,12,19,25,30,35,52,60,71,89,hvy

i dont think norbury will be in the finals i also think palmerwill destroy schneider it will be a major and russcell will demolish yenter by i think a major also

Not only does Norbury make it to the finals-he wins it.  Who is going to beat him???

TJ BATES WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  8-) :-o :-D

At 152 Mace and Adams can't be in the finals together. Black will be number one seed. He is undefeated in Northern Kentucky and conference champ at 152 this year. Given Black has beat Ryle's varsity twice this year, it is unlikely Mace will be able to seeded above him. Mace and Adams will be 2 and 3 seed respectively.

Who won between Bates and Lonkard? That will decide the number 3 or 4 seed. This will be very important. Hale beat Lonkard therefore he will be seeded higher. No one wants to be number 4 seed as Norbury will be the champ. A head to head of Lonkard vs Hale could be a big deciding factor in team region champ.

I am almost certain that Bates won against Lonkard.

Court Mace has made incredible improvements this year and is a state contender.  He will beat Adams and give Black all he can handle and more.  Go Court!!!!

when it comes to seeding adams and mace, if they have not wrestled head to head the next criteria will be common opponants, so mace does not automaticallly concede the #1 seed to adams

I never stated Adams is number one seed. I stated Black is number one and the 2 and 3 seeds are between Adams and Mace. It will hard to remove Black from number one seed given he is 152 conference champ and undefeated in NKy. He beat 2 of Ryle's wrestlers and he also beat Des Jakes from Larue. Objectively, I believe Black will be number one seed. Did Mace wrestle Jakes from Larue?

I am almost certain that Bates won against Lonkard.

That will put Lonkard against Norbury. Hale-vs-Bates will be another big deciding match for team champ of region 6.

I'm not sure if he wrestled Jakes from Larue but he has stayed at a Holiday Inn!!!!  And he would come in for his INVISALIGN if he had them!

IPEA just looking at your list of wrestlers, Orsello did not wrestle 112 at the time of the dual meet or conference.  He dropped from 119 and is a very strong wrestler.  I also believe that Coyle gave Lee all he could handle and at the beginning of the season.  1 week of practice following football.  He is much improved running on premium fuel and can wrestle all 6 minutes and then some.  This will be another interesting regional tournament with other individuals from these other teams playing the spoilers.

I am not predicting who will win the individual weights, I am trying to predict seeding. As you know, that is a huge determining factor in who is actually in the finals. Coach Ruschell's decision not to send his varsity team to NCAA may come back to haunt him. Campbell County has the upper hand right now as far as seeding the close weights.

Mace may very well beat Black, but that doesn't change the seeding priority. With Black at number 1, he should be in the finals.

Coyle vs Lee, both should be in the finals. Again, Coyle might prevail, but both should be in the finals thereby minimizing team champion. I doubt either will win by more than a few points. It is trivial, but Lee will be seeded number 1.

112 is a big deal. Fryar beat Ryle's 112 and placed high in the NCAA. He may have won it, I'm not sure. Seeding again will play a big role in determining the 2 finalists. I don't know the dossier of Ryle's 112. Supe is the favorite and will be seeding 1st. That will put Ryle and CC in the semi's. Big match.

125 could also be a factor. If Supe remains at 125, how will the seeds work out? Palmer and Schneider have not met. Supe is the returning regional champ. That may seed Supe number one and Palmer and Schneider 2 and 3. I will go out on a limb and give the better record to Schneider this year. He has won 3 of the last Ohio tournaments. These tournaments had 23,18,18 teams. He is 15 for 15 in the last 3 weeks. I'm not sure Palmer's record. Palmer won the Dragon, was Supe there? If Palmer and Schneider meet in the semi's, that is a big determining factor in region team champion.  If they are separated, the winner in the finals will have less of an impact on team championship. I don't believe either one will win by more than a few points. If Supe drops, then everything is trivial. If he stays at 125, the best match of the entire region 6 will be at the seeding meeting!

130, I like CC's odds for making the finals. I would rather go against Bates than Norbury. Lonkard will be against Norbury.

Boring weights for Ryle and CC. 119R, 135R, 140CC, 145CC, 171R, 189R, 215CC. All will win by pinning throughout, except for 135, I don't see Roland pinning his way through.

With so many teams in region 6, byes will not play a big role.

I think it will be a very exciting tournament. I'm not getting my invisilines until after the tournament. If it's close or controversial, I could lose some teeth in the big brawl!

Oops, Rebelyell is my wife! Damn, I forgot to log her out! The above is from I-pinned-em-all.

The above is from me. My wife was logged into my computer.

Palmer beat Supe at the Dragon 10-2 or something like that.

BTW,  Was Supe returning champ at 125.  I thought it was 119.  Palmer, Osborne and Supe if he was champ are all returning champs.  Just out of curiosity does placing in state the prior year hold any weight in seeding?  You better be wearing a mouthpiece if your going to wrestle.  Tooth replacement after the tournament could be costly depending on the outcome. :-D

Im pretty sure bates beat lonkard 3-0, Hale i think beat him 6-2 or 3. something like that.

I think the bates-hale match will be interesting.

112 is definitely a big match-No Doubt.  However the impact of Ryle sending JV to NKAC is a moot point for this weight.  Orsello couldn't drop to 112 till recently.

160-Seeding is no biggie-1 & 2 will be separated with no one else even close to them.

125-Palmer beat Supe and with no head to head with Palmer and Schneider I think Palmer will get the #1 seed since he beat Supe and based on last year results.  Palmer was regional champ and state runner up.  He is undefeated in KY.  I guess it depends who Schneider has lost to in KY, if anyone.

130-Tough weight class for Region 6.  Lonkard is at the top of his game right now.  I don't see him getting passed Norbury, but I think he has a shot at anyone else.

Should be one of the best region tournaments in the State.  It may come down to which ones pin their way through the tournament to accumulate the most points for their team-----not just win.

Im pretty sure bates beat lonkard 3-0, Hale i think beat him 6-2 or 3. something like that.

I think the bates-hale match will be interesting.

When did they wrestle?  I thought Lonkard wrestled Jones at NKAC.

With Palmer being undefeated in Ky he will likely get the number one seed. Being a state runner-up certainly has some impact, but, I'm not sure how much. If he was runner-up at 119, then yes, with it being so much lower, probably less of an impact. I guess coaches will decide. The overall record this year will be important as well. Schneider won 4 big Ohio tournaments and has a very good record. If Supe is at 119, I doubt there will be a big challenge either way. If Supe remains 125, I think there will be a heavy debate and will come down to all the coaches voting on it. Criteria will probably be equal.

I agree this could and should be a great region 6 tournament. There are 4 maybe 5 head to head matches between Ryle and CC, 103, 125, 152, 160, and possibly the big boys. Not sure about 112, will depend on seeding, but no doubt, 112 is a huge weight group for both teams.

then that means supe and scinder will face each other in the semies am i not correct :?

I am assuming that Caleb Schneider beat Supe?

When did they wrestle?  I thought Lonkard wrestled Jones at NKAC.

He did, im pretty sure lonkard-bates wrestled at ryle rumble. lonkard-Hale wrestled at NKAC.

He did, im pretty sure lonkard-bates wrestled at ryle rumble. lonkard-Hale wrestled at NKAC.

You are correct-they did wrestle at the Rumble and your earlier post of Bates over Lonkard 3-0 was correct.  Gold star for you-good memory.

Once again, importance in seeding

1. head to head

2. victories against common opponants

3. overall record

4. last years accomplishments (less important)

5. "He's a good kid" or something like that which is said at every seed meeting and means almost nothing

not important

1. beating someyone else from the same team

2. winning a tournament that the other seed candidate was not at example: Black wno the NKAC Mace won the Dragon

Mace vrs. Black for #1 seed at regional will be based on common opponants and overall record because they have not wrestled head to head. If Black wrestles the Trinity kid this weekend or some other common opponant that will determine the seed

I am assuming that Caleb Schneider beat Supe?

ill add more to this debate. i have beaten caleb, and i have lost to supe. so if supe stays 125 then i give the one seed to palmer hands down, for beating supe. the the 2 and 3 seeds dont matter, but get handed out to supe and caleb, with supe most likely getting the 2 seed because he beat me, and i beat caleb. record plays no role, or shouldnt, because of common opponents.

thanks for the clarification.  Where does my dad can beat your dad fall in the criteria?

thanks for the clarification.  Where does my dad can beat your dad fall in the criteria?

hahahaha that should be the 1st criteria lol

thanks for the clarification.  Where does my dad can beat your dad fall in the criteria?

That comes right after my mom beat your mom.  Singlets anyone?

This year's rematch of ryle and cc matriarchs should be on pay per view.  Profits will fund both teams for years.

That comes right after my mom beat your mom.  Singlets anyone?

little bro what you talken about

Mace vrs. Black for #1 seed at regional will be based on common opponants and overall record because they have not wrestled head to head. If Black wrestles the Trinity kid this weekend or some other common opponant that will determine the seed

They had a common opponent at the Rumble.  Black teched Duyzk from HC..........Duyzk beat Mace at the same tourney.  Have Black and Adams from Conner wrestled?  This weekend will be interesting.

Mace did win against Adams at a tri this year.  Can't remember the score though.  Does Black wrestle an opponent that Mace beat at the Dragon ?

I am getting a little older but I am not absolutely certain that Court wrestled in the Rumble.  I thought Josh Parker wrestled at the Rumble but I am sure someone has a better memory than me.

Baumspage says Mace lost 4-2 to Dusyk from HC at the Rumble.

I am getting a little older but I am not absolutely certain that Court wrestled in the Rumble.  I thought Josh Parker wrestled at the Rumble but I am sure someone has a better memory than me.

They both wrestled in the Rumble.  (Parker and Mace)  And the results listed above vs the common opponent of Mace and Black are correct.  This information can be found on baumspage.com.  Look under Raider Rumble Results.

Does anyone know what grade year Mace is from Ryle?  The stae rankings has him as a blank.

ill add more to this debate. i have beaten caleb, and i have lost to supe. so if supe stays 125 then i give the one seed to palmer hands down, for beating supe. the the 2 and 3 seeds dont matter, but get handed out to supe and caleb, with supe most likely getting the 2 seed because he beat me, and i beat caleb. record plays no role, or shouldnt, because of common opponents.

I'll complicate this one more for your benefit KH.  Schneider beat the kid from Sycamore at the Rumble and he beat Palmer.  So Schneider has a common opponent advantage over Palmer.  This one could get ugly.

Does anyone know what grade year Mace is from Ryle?  The stae rankings has him as a blank.

Court Mace is a sophomore.

Thanks

Who won between Bates and Lonkard? That will decide the number 3 or 4 seed. This will be very important. Hale beat Lonkard therefore he will be seeded higher. No one wants to be number 4 seed as Norbury will be the champ. A head to head of Lonkard vs Hale could be a big deciding factor in team region champ.

i can see lonkard beating bates and hale he just needs to keep his confidence up he's really talented i just don't think he realizes it yet maybe he'll click by regionals

if everything goes  good john should get 2nd seed at regional

if everything goes  good john should get 2nd seed at regional

It really does'nt matter if he gets 3 seed or 2nd seed. Either way him and Bates will be in the semi-finals

i look foreward to that match its going to be a good one

bates beats hale hands down! you can't judge two people by the way they wrestled caleb lonkard i've wrestled both of them and bates is by far better hale could not possibly improved that drastically in one year to beat him me and bates regional finals

i cant wait

Didn't look injured yesterday-went 4-0 over at Conner.  Three pins and a major.

Oz is fine

so is supe wrestling 125 or 119?

so is supe wrestling 125 or 119?

He weighed in this weekend at Conner Duals at 126 and some change.  Looks like he will be at 125 which will be stacked.  Supe, Schneider and Palmer.

When will they seed region 6?  Anyone know of potential surprises?

I believe the seeding meeting is on Wednesday evening.  Body armor recommended.

Thursday night.

I believe the seeding meeting is on Wednesday evening.  Body armor recommended.

I would recomend some headgear as well. Maybe some mace.  :-D

I hear the Ryle staff are bringing automatic weapons

its not that i like ryle or anything but i have to admit they have a good team I dont think that there is any question as to weather Ryle is gonna win regionals or not

supe will get the three seed or two seed and see schneider in the finals. that sucks for what ever 2 seed from another region gets paired with the loser of that semifinals match. either caleb or supe, take your pick...

So with Schneider and Supe in the finals according to your scenario that would mean a State Finalist from last year would place either 3rd or 4th in the Region. Boy would that upset some #1 or #2 from another region. It's gonna get interesting on Saturday!!!!!!!! I personally like Palmer's chances on winning the region and being a State Finalist again.  :-D

hmm... I think you might have something mixed up in that post tc. Caleb will probably get the #1 seed over Palmer since they have a common opponent in a kid from Sycamore, which someone commented on earlier, Caleb beating him and Palmer losing to him. Palmer will get the #2 seed and Supe the #3 seed. Palmer handled Supe at the dragon, don't see Supe beating him. Supe will take third, which I agree sucks for whatever #2 draws him at state. It should be Schneider and Palmer in the finals, a match that I am very much looking forward to.

What is it i Heard about osbourne Injured?

Didn't look injured yesterday-went 4-0 over at Conner.  Three pins and a major.

"OSBORNE DID ALRIGHT!!!!!"

i actually meant that supe and schneider would meet in the SEMIfinals. sorry for the messup, but schneider lost to me, and supe beat me. with palmer losing to the kid you mentioned, these seedings just got hairier. but as i said earlier, sucks for a 1 or two seed from another region.

Interesting... I wonder how that will play out. Palmer definitely can't get lower than a #2 seed then. He got hurt in the match before he lost to that Sycamore kid, which may have had something to do with his loss. I doubt that factor will come into play though. You'd have to bet on the fact that Palmer is better than Supe, but Schneider could be better than Palmer, and Supe could be better than Schneider. The #1 seed will probably be determined by the best orator out of Bankemper and Ruschell.... or maybe a fight. I'll bet on Ruschell for the latter, Bankemper probably has the edge on the other. :-D Either way I don't really see it mattering, I think it will be a Schneider vs. Palmer finals match up.

yeah, but who knows supe has a chance to upset caleb, if the cards fall right. i dont see supe beating palmer though.

Da Raider coaches don't need stinking automatic weapons.

You can say hello to little weapons that will be on the mat.
