Personally, I thought Iroquois High School got off to a decent start this year.
I believe Iroqos is in it's 3rd or 4th year.

Letcher County Central has done a wonderful job in there first year. I finally got to see them wrestle this past weekend at Johnson Central and they are a team that looks like they have been wrestling for a while.
watch out for Newport in a few years....it appears their coach (jeff middleton) has finally turned the corner and got the school admins on board to support him...if he gets the support he needs, they will be contending for the n. ky region before too long. he's really done a great job with m.s. & his h.s. teams.
Don't forget Nelson County in Region 2!! They are coming on very quickly for a 1st year team!! Coach Detre is doing a very good job with those boys!!
