He's been hurt, and is still hurt...but wrestled at regionals where he could slide in.  Finished 4th I think, but didn't finish the match

He took 6th by forfeit

he wieghed like 167 or 168 i heard but made i to the semi's then had to forfeit his next 2 matches cuase he hurt his leg

He weighed in at 166 and hurt his leg near the end of the third period when he was beating Pat Elam. He then forfeited. i tried to talk him into wrestling his cons. semis match and then forfeiting to get 4th but he wasn't having it. His leg was really bothering him for the rest of the day it seems like.

He had a great career, and was one of the most likable and friendly wrestlers I have met. Great job Dusty!

I had no intention of wrestling at state with my leg. I just couldn't pass up one last chance to get out there and roll. It was more than worth it.

We don't have a 189. That's why I filled in the spot. I had the choice of knocking our 171 off the line-up but I couldn't do that to someone. That is also one of the reasons I didn't wrestle up for 3rd. I knew i'd just get hurt. No sense in taking someone's spot at state.

Thanks. I just try to be a good guy to everybody and help out whoever wants my advice on anything. That's why I went somewhere else to do most of my work. There is probably only one person on our team that I feel REALLY wants to get better and improve and always has a great attitude. This being my senior year, I kind of gave up on trying to play the whole "leader" role because I knew it was time for me to get done what I needed to. Right before I got injured I finally got my head on straight, got my weight down, and was wrestling like I needed to. And then it happened.

But, i'm glad to see that someone appreciates me being a nice guy.

its extremely obvious to me that none of you all know dusty or likely have never even talked to him. don't judge a book by its cover, Dustin Stengel and "Danger" are not near the same person. On the threads he may talk and joke whatever whatever, but when it comes down to it hes a class act and a nice kid.

But Dusty im still pretty upset about that night we had... pretty weak. lol we need to kick it this weekend!

Glad hes off the mat. Garbage of a wrestler and thinks hes good. all he had was a decent inside trip. and if i had gotten that move hit on me that many times id have a decent one to.

As I recall, everyone i've ever talked to or heard speak of you couldn't stand you. On here or out in the real world. So don't get too mouthy, because you aren't exactly Mr. Popular when it comes to the wrestling community.

Ryan Gibson. Never complains. Never argues. Never whines about anything when he's tired. He's a good kid and he's the only person on the team that deserves to be a captain as far as i'm concerned. That includes me. I don't pretend to be the best team leader when it comes to my team this season. Ryan is exactly what PRP needs in every weight class. Hopefully things will work themselves out next season.

Did that 119 from PRP place in regionals

IMHO, Danger has had some of the most entertaining posts on this site over the years. And IF he and Dusty are really the same person, well, I feel honored to know him/them, whatever. I wish both of them all the best. And don't forget: stay out of Wal-mart!  :-D
