Elementary Regional Wrestling Championships

Tournament Site: Wayne County Middle School
Region 6 includes:
Lincoln, Casey, Taylor, Green, Barren, Allen, Monroe, Metcalfe, Cumberland, Clinton, Russell, Adair, Pulaski, McCreary,Wayne, Whitley, Bell, Knox, Clay, Laurel, Owsley, Jackson, Rockcastle
Beginning this year all elementary wrestlers must compete in a Regional Tournament in order to gain participation in the State Tournament.
Registration: All teams must submit a team roster by February 21st including age and weight class. Wrestlers must make their registered weight. Entry fee must be paid by February 21st. There will be NO refunds and no bumping up for wrestlers that do not make weight.
Weigh-Ins: will be 8:00-9:30 Saturday February 28 at Wayne County Middle School. These weights will be used as their State Tournament weight. Scratch meeting 9:30-10:00. Wrestling at 10:00.
Awards: Top three places will be awarded medals in each age/weight division. Top three teams will be awarded trophies.
Entry Fee: $10.00 per wrestler. Rosters & entry fee must be received by February 21st.
Eligibility: All Wrestlers MUST be in grades Kindergarten-Sixth grade, currently attend school in Kentucky, and maintain physical residence in the state of Kentucky. A wrestler who turned 13 years old before January 1 shall be ineligible for competition. All wrestlers must have a
