I dont think anybody thought that Justin Davis would get MOW. But he's a good wrestler and he deserves it. So congragulations to him.
he is a monster. Ive heard he is only a 3 year wrestler? i dont know if thats true, if so, wow is all i cansay. He is just much too fast for everybody
he looks strong too
yeah he started wrestling his sophmore year and took 5th i think, then he won it his junior and senior year.
r u sure he didnt get 4th?
r u sure he didnt get 4th?
Yes, he was 4th the first year he wrestled.
yeah thats why i said i think lol. i knew it was either fourth or fifth, didnt he lose to a kid he had beaten earlier that tourney as well?
He is to quick and to strong for anybody to lay a finger on him.
I said Shotwell would beat him, boy was I wrong... He has a great duckunder...

Yeah it was Zach Poulton. They always had exciting down to the wire matches.
Ya ur rite that duck under is nasty ecspecially the one in his finals match
I think Justin Davis was phenomenal. I saw him wrestle at Conner and I don't know why he was just ok at that meet. I must admit that I was wrong. Great job Mr. Davis. you put on a great performance. Good Luck!!! :-)
It isn't even that the duckunder is very good that he does. It's the fact that, while in a stance, he stands like 3 feet tall. He just has to step under your arm or just cut the corner.

Now that I sit here and picture it, that is so true. haha
Does anyone know if and where he is thinking of wrestling in college? As a 3rd year wrestler, its scary to think how good he could get in college. I think he is D1 material, he is so explosive on the mat, not many would be able to hold him down, and he is super dangerous on his feet. I hope he is considering attending senior nationals in Virginia beach, he would turn heads.

He is definitely attending senior nationals and has already talked to cumberland, campbellsville, and Lindsey Wilson that I know of. Also, one of Eastern's assistant coaches Vernon Jackson who wrestled for Ohio State has had some people from OSU talking with him.
how tall is he really? i mean ur right hes stance is low to the ground but he didnt look that tall anyhow

He's around 5"2 or 5"3
thts pretty short IMO for the weight he wrestles at.
But he's solid.
true Chad
i just smitted scupp!
Haha ok,
Justin Davis is very deserving of the MOW. Korey Shotwell gave him his very best moves and Justin stopped everything. I was extremely impressed with Justin. Korey's record in high school is 54-4, 58-5 (3 losses to Bryan Peace) , and now 62-4. Korey has wrestled and beat the top kids in Ohio division 1, 2 and 3 and none of them compare to the athleticism and quality of Justin Davis. I am a huge Justin Davis fan. If he wrestles in college, he will make a very impressive mark in the NCAA.
As a side note, has a 103 or 112 pounder ever won MOW. I have never been to a tournament where a light weight (103/112) has won MOW. Are coaches not impressed with the light guys??
ur right the lightest i have seen this year is Zarth at 119
yeah, i cant think of anybody recently. what about Sullivan? did he?

Same here, every tournament we have been to, and If Henry Clay is there. MATT ZARTH ALWAYS WINS MOW! :-(
all i know is that he suppose 2 attend senors nationals this year
Yes he is. He's gonna come train with us at our open mats and off season workouts in two weeks to get ready for senior nationals.
Is Justin Davis going to senior nationals?
