tevon clay an 8th grader placing second at 112
Hedges DNP (did he even make it to Sat?)
Logsdon lost to Warra, which should've never happened.
Trey Gentry upset some people by winning 3 sudden death OTs on Sat. alone
Krazywitch (125 woodford) should've been in the Finals but took 3rd, suprising some folks.
Bracco took 7th after not ever being ranked lower than 4th. Tough draw.
Milford in the finals suprised some, but not me. His toughest match was Goff which he won 6-3. No one was going to touch Fahy.
Henry Clay really underperformed, imo (besides Zarth).
I thought Will Bryant would be top 3.
Lenz wrestled tough but the jump from 112 to 125 was too much. Still not sure if he would've placed at 119 either. Make weight at regions and maybe he'd be in the 112 finals.

Dont see lenz in the finals at 112...with the region 7 champ draw he would have had troxell in the quarters and leavell in the semis..
Both winnable matches for Andy.
The paper has the 2 Bryan Stations wrestlers were the first placers in school history. I saw them wrestle a couple of times this year, they looked like a decent team and I would have guessed that they had placers in the past.
The paper also had that this is the lowest team placement in the last 20 years.
yeah, i did not make it to saturday. i pulled my rotator cuff against travis in the regional finals and had to battle the injury. i was barely able to wrestle by the doctors. i went 2 and 2.
lowest team placement for woodford and yes they were they first 2 placers in BS history and the highest team points scored at the state tournament ever (the highest before was like 7)
I didn't think you could "pull a rotator cuff." You can pull a muscle but the rotator cuff is a series of muscles that work in unison to provide movement and rotation. Rotator cuff injuries are either tears or inflammations of the joints. Tears require surgery and you'd be in a world of pain, you wouldn't even be able to warm up. Inflammations can be treated more easily but wrestling through one would be painful, I'd assume.
well the doctor had told me i had just pulled everything in my shoulder and around my rotator cuff. he told me wrestling could be done, but i would probably not be successful, and would more than likely be better to just not wrestler.
you hit a sick gator roll in one match....that had to require some shoulder muscle movement.
wrestling in college?
yeah i hit a few this weekend, but the kids i hit it on never put any pressure on my left shoulder, and when they did, for example russell from eastern, it didnt work. actually, he put me on my own back when i tried it. and i dont plan on wrestling in college, i dont have much passion for it anymore...i may decide i miss it when i get there though, so who knows.
yea i noticed that in your match against supe
yeah he just threw his arm down hard, and i didnt have the strength to stop him on his back
that sucks dude
still think Lenz would have placed at 125 if not for the injury. Prolly shouldn't have wrestled Sat but had to try. Will do alright at 125 in college IMO. Good Luck Andy!
Yeah i was hoping Andy would of placed. I hate to see him go out like that his senior year.
andy had a hard draw.
Yes he did. He did weil in the Consulations
anyone on that side of the bracket had a tough draw.

The rotator cuff is a series of muscles, but you can strain (what most people call a pulled muscle) an individual muscle. Strains can very from mild to complete tears of the muscle. Usually to damage a rotator cuff muscle it takes a massive amount of force, but stranger things have happened.
