What do you all think bout the use of steriods in highschool wrestling?

Not really sure I have just heard alot of talk about it being used by some of the wrestlers. Just curious about how every one feels about the topic

Well since no one tests for steriods in the state (that I know of) I doubt very seriously that you'll hear of anyone testing positive. The schools that do drug test (ie dunbar) only test for recreational drugs, like pot, acid, or coke.

I believe all the schools are required to perform random drug tests.  However, I do believe you are right about only testing for pot, coke, etc...  Steriods, although not tested for, are illegal, unethical, and cheating.  This is all not to mention that you would become seriously at risk of heart attack (especiall if you cut weight), lower your sperm count, shrink your testicals, increase your zits and back hair, while lowering your head hair.  Just many many side effects that are not worth while.

My experience while in high school was that those that did do the steriods were unintelligent, and none of them ended up being anything.

While I agree with everything you say regarding 'roids, you are wrong about the drug testing. Indiviual schools are allowed to decide wether or not they will drug test. There is absolutely no requirement to do drug testing of any kind at the high school level in the state of KY. Dunbar was one of the first in the state to test, but the rest of the Fayette co schools did not start at that time.
