I don't know how the rest of the regions went but region 5 was a disappointment. It was ran very poorly.Participation was low with there being only 3 counties there. The host site did not adhere to any formal way of running matches through. Some kids were left out and a few didn't even get to wrestle. Not to mention that most matches were between teammates from same club. I understand that some tournaments are hard to put together,but with only around 90 kids at the most this should have been very easy to handle. :x

I 110% agree...the announcing was terrible. It was very cluttered and unorganized. I also have to disagree with one of the refs. It was obvious he was favoring a team, if you were there then I need not say anymore. It is sad when favortism takes place at all much less with these little kids. A pin is a pin, period, it's just that simple. I hope it takes place somewhere else next year and I truely hope that State is more organized and fair...thanks.
