1st Bullitt Central

Alot of people thought it was rigged. I dont think any of southerns wrestlers had 1st round bye's. PRP, DeSales, and Doss had more than 3 or 4 people with 1st round bye's. The host of the region 3 tournament treated it like it was there own annual tournament. There senior night was during one of the breaks, and the championship brackets said southern at the top. I along with alot of other people was very supprised that the medals didnt say southern also. It was very tacky.

Even though Bulliet Central won the tournament, PRP sent 6 to the finals and had 6 in the finals and had 4 champions in seniors James Glenn at 152 and Jason Hardin at HWT. Defending champion, Corey Mills at 119 walked away with another 1st place victory, and junior Josh Higgs Pinned Patrick Lyle in 112 finals. Bulliet Central only had 3 champions. If PRP hadnt have been missing 3 weight classes due to injuries, they would have been 5 time region champions. They will be back on top next year.

Fairdale, DeSales, and Southern all had 2 champions. Valley had 1 in Joe Raighley. Be-bop smith had a big win over Fairdales Overrated Robbie Brown. Brown showed very poor sportsmanship.

Bulliet Central is a good team but they have poor sportsmanship too. They flaunted there win in everybody face like it was the state championship instead of a weak region 3 championship. Im anticipating the state tournament to see how good they really are.

I think someone should go back and recount the points. Alot of people think that it wasnt right.

I agree. I think that the points weren't tallied correctly.

Does it really matter? Im so tired of people making excuses, just get over it and if you are good prove it at stae instead of trying to make excuses for why your team or someone elses team lost. im not trying to bad mouth you i guess what i am trying to say is go to state and prove yourself there, not in a "weak" region. You know if your team would have won the tournament you wouldve been happy to and wouldnt be calling it weak. Oh and a couple of Valleys kids showed unsportsmanlike conduct also. They were horrible and threw headgear and just did stupid stuff.
