USA Wrestling tournaments are supposed to require a "primarily red" and "primarilly blue" singlet for competitors to wear in accord with their assigned color based on their random draw number on the bracket.  Typically around this area, the refs are easy going on this rule.  However, the Kentucky State tournament (At Central) and any Regional National or National tournament you plan on attending should require this.  I know the Regional in Columbus Ohio does require it.

It is a good rule so and makes things go much smoother, I really wish they forced this more in our area as competitors should have returned their school singlets by now anyway.  A simple reversable blue and red singlet costs no more than $30, which is about the same amount as a USAW card and can be used for multiple years.

The red and blue singlets come from freestyle.  When I competed in my high school days I was required to either have one red and one blue or a reversible because before the match they decided and you had to be wearing that color singlet.  I don't know about the rules now.

This is still true.  For freestyle and Greco, you need a red and blue singlet.  Folkstyle really does not matter

Awww Man i just bought a batman singlet.......Tht blows
