I used my rankings to simulate the girls tournament a bunch of times. Here are the results!
Obviously has the same caveats that my other rankings I posted do.
Each weight class is sorted by their individual rankings, so it is more visually obvious who has the 'easier/harder' path to the finals.
107, 114, 132, and 138 are the toughest brackets.
100 Santos and the Madison's are the favorites, but Estep is a newcomer and hasn't had many matches. She could go on a run here.
107 has 4 contenders, and a deep 2nd level. The bracket is well balanced, so should upsets could happen anywhere.
114 has a heavy favorite, but has 5 legitimate contenders who are also spread around. Semis and quarters will be interesting.
120 the two favorites would meet in the semi's, which is a bummer. The top half of the bracket is anybody's games to get to the finals.
126 the bottom half of the bracket should be interesting. But finals with Clark vs Jackson is most likely outcome. Jackson has the harder path.
132 ofc has the heaviest favorite, but also has the highest floor. 11 of these girls would likely place in other weight classes. Anybody could place anywhere.
138 is completely up for grabs, with no obvious front runner. 6 people with shots at the title. I would watch every round of this weight class, it should be fun! This weight class was going to be stacked going in, but Svec has come out of nowhere to be a favorite. Similar to last year, Matthews came into the tournament low ranked, but went on a run. She could be a bracket breaker again.
145 White has the best odds, because the competition is all on the other side of the bracket. Top half quarters and semis will be interesting here.
152 Hopefully a repeat finals from last year. Hood vs Maynard was the best finals match from State last year, and I'm hoping for a repeat matchup!
165 Appolon vs Nichols could be similar titan showdown. Sianni has the lower odds, only because the top half of the bracket is tougher than the bottom, so just more chances of bad luck. These two haven't wrestled as far as I can tell, so it should definitely be interesting.
185 Reese has a straightforward path to the finals, but the top half could be interesting.
235 Davis is the second biggest favorite, and has been unstoppable this year. Region C is region of the heavyweights. All 4 will likely place (one on the bench at Lafayette would likely place too). I would expect another Layla vs Elene finals showdown, and Layla has had her number for awhile.
