hey, does anyone know where to buy the glow sticks that are on sale at the state tournament? they never have our school colors down there, so i thought i'd try to buy some to bring down with me.

What's your school colors? Mauve or maybe a fuscia? Just kidding...we order these prior to State usually off the internet or maybe Oriental Trading Post (best as always to shop around). I personally do not know if any party supply stores carry them or not. Pretty good fundraiser too because we sell them at state for a small profit

yes, that's why I want to buy mine before the tournament so i can have some time to sharpen the ends. JUST KIDDING!!! I sat in between 2 school sections that were throwing them last year...I can tell you this much, there's little kids in the stands...if I see people throwing them this year, one way or another, they'll be out of the tournament. it would really suck to drive all the way down to Frankfort to watch the state finals and miss them because you thought it would be cute to throw a glow stick.
any kids reading this, don't ruin the glow stick thing...if people keep throwing them, they'll be banned from the tournament.
But there's nothing like the stadium getting dark and all of those glow sticks twirling around and around and around in a very controlled manner :wink: I especially like the Camels purple ones! Purple camels, blue hawks, pink elephants...I need to be in de-tox for crying out loud!
