Changing servers in Aion 2 deserves more preparation than choosing a busier destination. Before organizing equipment or browsing Aion 2 Items, establish whether your characters qualify, when applications open, and whether the move will actually bring you closer to the people you want to play with.

Match Your Server Group to the Correct Window

For the October 2026 transfer period, Early Access applications run after maintenance on October 13 until before maintenance on October 20, using PDT dates. Launch applications follow after October 20 maintenance until before October 27 maintenance. The corresponding European maintenance dates are October 14, 21, and 28.

Daily application hours also matter. North America East and West use 09:00-13:00 and 15:00-19:00 PDT. Other regions have different schedules, so check the current regional notice rather than converting a screenshot from another region or assuming availability lasts all day.

Confirm Eligibility Before Committing

Eligible characters must be at least level 10. Transfers stay within the same region and faction, and Early Access characters can move only to other Early Access servers. The period permits one transfer per account, from one departure server to one destination, so choose the character group carefully.

Check destination capacity immediately before applying. Both outgoing and incoming limits can prevent a move, and availability updates hourly. Heavy demand can also close a server's transfer access for the remainder of the period; an available destination earlier in the day is not a reservation.

Choose a Community, Not Just a Population

Ask friends to confirm their exact destination, faction, and intended application time. Agree on a second choice before anyone commits. A coordinated move should have a shared plan rather than several people independently choosing whichever server looks busiest.

Talk to your guild about recruitment, group composition, and regular activity hours. A lively evening community offers little value if you usually play mornings. Consider language preferences, weekend availability, and whether your preferred activities fit the group's routine. Population alone is a poor reason to leave reliable teammates.

Prepare Storage and Character Space

Expanded character slots remain on the departure server, so verify space at the destination. Character Storage contents travel with the character, but Server Storage items do not. Move anything you intend to take into the transferring character's inventory or Character Storage beforehand.

Before submitting, record your selected characters and destination. Leave enough time to review every confirmation screen without rushing, and arrange a meeting time with your group after arrival.

A worthwhile transfer should improve your everyday sessions, not merely change your surroundings. Settle eligibility, timing, storage, and community plans first; any Aion 2 Items buy decision should remain secondary to making a move that suits your schedule and teammates.
